It is one thing of getting them to practice and games (year round) and cheering them on and it is another to undermine the coaches and teachers that are giving of their time to help these kids.

Hold your head up. Most private schools have less to choose from than most people think. It's the 5 or 6 in the entire state that make it look bad. You have one just down the street that proves that point. Got one in eastern KY and one in western KY.

You really don't want to go there. ONLY 37% IN THE TOURNEY ARE PRIVATE. Are 37% of the class "A" schools in the state private? This will be my last post on this. Good luck to all the schools in the Class A. You have earned the right to be there, regardless of where you are from, PUBLIC OR PRIVATE

As far as the title another post not related to Neeley started leaning his way and I promised to start a Neeley post.

It means that Neeley was not in the 8th last year and Hester was the best point guard coming into his senior year, but with Neeley now in the 8th I'm not sure that Hester is. I'm also not sure that he isn't. From the games that I have seen (limited number) I'ld take Neeley.

Don't know a thing about OC but I do know that the Gallatin boys are leaving school early enough to be there to root the Carroll County Girls on to victory.

First of all "Welcome to the site" and second, just a bunch of good ole boys that love to have fun and hope that you do to. Want to win it all but if we don't then hope the team that beat us does.

Thanks curtain, there are more D1 schools than we allow ourselfs to think about. With his quick release he is always open.

PS There is nothing wrong with not being the best, the problem is not trying your best or thinking you're the best. If you want to be in the spot light then you must make those around you shine.

Any thoughts... How about letting the kids be kids and have fun and letting the coaches coach. Teach your kid everything you are capable of without pushing them. They will decide if you allow them.

That is the beauty of small schools. One or two players can make a difference. There was a guy that wore #23 that got cut in High School. Not in a small school.

I was hoping all their wins came against rebuilding programs and they were lucky to be in but since Gallatin and LCA scrimmaged a year ago I know they are for real. Might have been in summer AAU

I went beyond not selling Henry short, I'm not selling Carroll short. Yes the 31st will be well represented this year. WITH 2 teams.

I know this is going to hurt but the biggest problem in Panther Country has not and is not the players or coaches. The biggest (only) problem has been with the parents of the players. Trust me as good as some of these players have been without parental interference they would have had good teams. Coach Mefford is and always was a winner. I'll be watching him coach in Richmond in a few days. Coach Miller has not been around long enough for me to draw an opinion and with all the help he's getting I probably won't get that chance. Scoring a lot of points does not make you a stud unless you are winning and WINNING as a team must come first.

Ain't going to say anything bad about the other teams but Gallatin does have coach Jones and that IMA gives Gallatin the edge.

Sad that they ended up playing each other for the 5th time in the first round. Without selling Henry or Carroll short I would have rather seen it in the final. One thing for sure, there will be a good team representing the 31st in the regional.

I for one am not counting LCA out. The teams are rated almost the same. Gallatin got a little rise after the good effort against Shelby, but before that they were a dead heat.

It's good to see someone at R H being recruited. Don't know about these two but for most it would put them in their comfort zone.

With his quick release Daniel could play D1. Unless the few times I saw him he was playing over his head. Would not be the star that he probably be at a smaller school, but I've seen alot of under 6' guards that don't have his shooting skills or basketball savvy play D1. He might not be UK or Louisville... but neither were a few boys that ended up at Vandy and most recently Tenn.

I agree with coach wife, gallatin, although losing 4 seniors, returns a strong lineup, and i look for them to make another run next season.

I'm not sure it's a coaching problem. Maybe a personnel problem. I just think that there is enough talent there but for some reason it can't play out for 32 min.
