never thought that i would be doing this but i hope Gallatin goes as far as possible. Then maybe the teams of the 8th will get a little more respect from the rest of the state.

Couldn't agree with you more. I hope the cats represent us well. It would be nice to see fans from all the class A schools in the 8th come support the cats. The small schools need to stick together and hopefully we can do well in Richmond and later on knock off Goliath(Shelby/Simon Kenton/Oldham's) in the 8th region tourney...

I agree completely, 93. Let all of the rest of the 8th region "A" schools support the Wildcats in Richmond this week!

I want the 8th region boys and girls to have a great showing in Richmond. Let's get the 8th a little respect.. I will be wearing blue on Thursday and black on Wednesday.

I for one am not counting LCA out. The teams are rated almost the same. Gallatin got a little rise after the good effort against Shelby, but before that they were a dead heat.

Thank you for the welcome to the forum. LCA has played a pretty tough schedule that has hurt their record but yet at the same time has seasoned them. A small school competing against the large Lexington schools is an uphill battle for respect. Four of their losses have came against two schools in the top ten of the state, two of those games were not decided until the end of the game.

I say Gallatin by 11.
