Boone vs St Henry Conner vs Ryle ^ From what I have been told, this is correct. Is Boone getting worse or is Ryle getting better?

Boone's center Andy Earls might be out tonight after missing all of last week with a sickness. This game might come down to the wire.

Holy Cross is tough, but Boone seemed a bit flat from the win againest SK.

Well it kind of depends on where the game is played. Boone has not shot that bad all year in all 4 of those games. Raceland coach was saying how its very hard to shoot in that gym because of the front of the rim being slightly higher than it should be. I take Boone County. Like i said before, Russell's offense is mostly transition. That is a problem you can fix. It seemed that Russell had some trouble scoring once the game got in the half court. But you say Boone wasn't flat, but thats the worst half that both Bray and McFarland have played this year from what I have watched.

Hey Armchair, 9-0 isn't flat? I agree on the West Carter game. 2 hours 30 minutes trip could have caused that. But anyways, the best Boone shot in this tournamant in a half might have been 42%. I think pressing Russell was a coaching mistake. Most of Russell's points were off transition offense. If the coach allowed his players to get back and play half court defense, this game could have been different. I thought that McFarland should have been pulled after he got his 2nd foul in the 1st half. Picking up his 3rd allowed really no playmaking for Boone since McFarland makes most of that with the help of starting point guard Ben Ryan who was out for that tournament with an injury. Once he was able to play in the 4th, I believe thats when they started to get there shots and come back in this ball game.

Agree, also they should have beat Russell. They came out very flat, and its hard to come back 16 when the refs are againest you and Boone shooting poorly in that tournament.

I know Tyler Cutter who attended Ockerman Middle (flows into Boone Co.) when he was an 8th grader(now a jr. at siegell) is there best player.

Heard Boone shot poorly the whole tournament. Its good to see them come out 8-1 to start off the season.

David McFarland was at Boone from 2001-05. His brother Steven McFarland is now at Boone and he is a sophmore.

Boone County was up 12 for most of the game and pulled away in the fourth quarter. Boone County stats: Bray with around 29 points McFarland 17 points, 11 rebounds, around 10-13 assist Gosney 11 points, 10 rebounds For Conner, Anderson and Thomas played well. (no stats for Conner) Boone 5-0. Conner 3-4.

Ryle is that bad. Until there point guard play improves, they will stay that bad.

Boones offense has been switched around a little bit since Bray McFarland and Bogle will have to take care of the ball a little bit more because of ryans injury as said above. Hopefully he returns soon. Friday should be a test for them on how they can handle the rock.

The score in this game could have been 90-15. Boone and Conner should be a good one friday.

Boone is 4-0 into the season, while Conner sits at 3-3. Boone ranks higher in polls, but Conner has stayed with some of the top teams in NKY so far. Your thoughts for fridays game at Boone?

Boone improves to 3-0. East falls to 1-4.

Bray missed some threes tonight that rolled in and out but came up with some where around 16-19. Gosney and McFarland also contributed around that amount of points. Alot of missed buckets tonight around the paint for Boone. Boone could have scored around 100 tonight if the shots in the paint were made. Walton made a run late but it seemed to late after Boone built a lead the whole game of around 20 points. Boone should surprised many teams this year.
