  1. It sounds like discussing a 40 point night from a kid and how and when he got those points are all part of the topic of the thread. If a guy wants to talk about Coach Mays and his style why can't he.
  2. I hope you are left outside. With a dumb post like this. What does Montgomery Co. have to do with a Scott Co. and Mason Co. match-up? The police in Mt. Sterling have been ordered to arrest idiots, be careful. Congrats to Scott County and Coach Hicks.
  3. I just found a seat! Count me in! I bet you make Mason Co. fans proud.
  4. If they were a little taller, I'd say Billy Gillispie would know the back roads to Sandy Hook, never mind they're all back roads.
  5. He is always around the ball. He is probably averaging close to double figures in rebounds. The Faulkners seem to dart in there and come up with the rebounds all the time. That where playing with heart and not size pays dividends!
  6. I am hoping the Elliott kids and staff have the ability to get over a loss and put it behind them unlike a few of their fans seen to have? Let it go.
  7. I don't mean any disrespect, but didn't I read somewhere that you listened to the game? How can you be critical of an official's calls when you only listened to the game? Just curious. I have seen Ferguson do this in every game I have seen them play this year. I don't agree with the technical. Rowan Co. was able to keep the game from getting out of hand until the fourth quarter. It was a 12 to 15 point game most of the way but Elliott started knocking down a few threes in the fourth. I would still like to see more effort from Timmy Knipp, they are going to have to have him step it up to make a deep run in march.
  8. If a 44 point margin exemplifies sympathy, I hate to see Mays coach without sympathy. Bath Co. is playing much better for their new coach. Bath should give Elliott a better game should they meet in the Class A Region finals. That being said, I think Elliott is the team to beat for the All A, but don't count out June Buchanan, they were very pesky against a very good Mason Co. in the 5/3.
  9. I'm sorry man. Mason up 13 end of 1st Mason up 10 end of 2nd Setty 7-7 FT's Mason up 6 end of 3rd Tie ballgame end of regulation. With multiple missed FT's You're right, I don't see the trend of Mason being tired.
  10. Time to let it go  I'd be more worried about getting T Knipp to contribute even a little, then you wouldn't have to worry about excuses. But why in the world would Elliott not have stayed in Lexington anyway. Just the drive from Sandy Hook to Morehead is enough to do me in.
  11. I didn't think Mason looked good the entire tournament. They seemed to be a bit slower than normal. I think the trip to Hawaii took a bit out of them. Congrats to Lex Cath Hope the game in Memorial is this good!
  12. Coach Salsman had to coach the entire 2nd half from his chair. That would have been tough to do in this one.
  13. Mason 60 Lex Cath 57 Middleton to the line for the bonus Stuart fouls out for Lex Cath
  14. Sounds like the one game I decide not to go to in the 5/3 ends up being the best one.
  15. Miller picks up 4th foul lead cut to 1 Mason 56 Lex 55
  16. Lexington Cath shoots first FT at 7:23 in the 4th Who said there would be home cookin? Mason up 5
