  1. Ok guys I can't stand it. It's Tuesday and no talk about the biggest small school game in the state? Recent history indicates that the visitor has the edge. My prediction BW 28 NCC 21
  2. Not having seen the 91 team as that was the year I moved here. I would have to give the nod to the 97 team.
  3. There were several Beechwood starters sick in the first game. Some tried to play while others watched. As you can see by the score it didn't make much of a difference. I'm actually hoping Bellevue brings their A game as it is pretty boring watching a lopsided win. Unless of course it is against NewCath
  4. HC is going to have to score a lot of points to beat Beechwood. Unfortunately for HC Beechwood probably has the best defense in 1a or 2a in the state. Beechwood 35-7.
  5. I'll be there, maybe I'll bring last years "crown" just to feel better .
  6. Ok, it's Saturday morning in Atlanta and the sun did come up. But, a hurricane did hit Galveston... coincidence, I don't think so . Sparkey
  7. Convinced my Mom to go to the game for me. She just called, BW 41-0 in the second quarter. I'm a little surprised that Dayton is giving up so many points. Sparkey P.S. Don't worry I won't miss the Newcath game!!!
  8. I am going to miss my first Beechwood game in many years. Please tell me that the sun will rise tomorrow and they will be just fine without my air horn cheering them on . Seriously, I know some of you will be at the game so could you make a quick post to let me know how it goes/went? My son graduated last year so I know I need to get a life that doesn't revolve around Friday night football. But, I sure love the game!!!! Sparkey
  9. Actually the enquirer had him at 227 yards.
  10. Bluto, Sorry to hear about your son. Watching mine play (#12 for Beechwood) was the thrill of a lifetime. Does he play any other sports?
  11. I grew up in Alliance and played all my high school games on their field. My cousin played there and was an all American lineman. Mount Union is the primiere D3 program in the nation. Congrats. As for my alma mater Ohio State how many teams can say were #2 twice!!! Oh make that 3times, forgot basketball!!!!
  12. What they are offering is a chance to go to a private school with better athletic programs, better facilities, better education and more recognition than most public schools. In this case there is a difference between tuition assistance and a "free education".
  13. Just finishing up a DVD now. Send me your info and I'll see that you get one
  14. You can count on my dozen kid to be there (ok only 7) but we will be very vocal!!! Are you have the party at your house?
  15. Did you happen to notice several of the linemen throwing up on the sideline during halftime? Beechwood played the game without several of their starting linemen. One didn't play at all and others had to come out because they were too sick to play. Did you every think that maybe great teams create turnovers and that is part of the reason they are great? Don't get me wrong, I thought Bellevue played a pretty good game but even at less than full strength Beechwood was the far superior team.
  16. I don't like that one How about posting the one where number 12 rips the ball away from number 80!!!
  17. This was the first year without Yeagle.
