J.T. is outstanding. There will be several Band of Brothers moving on to the next level. I think the coaches and fans are going to be awfully proud of how many of these boys are getting noticed and will go on to the next level.

First congrads to the NCC team. You are a classy bunch. I hope that we helped in any way the we could. i know some of my family offered some bus drivers and coaches chili at the tailgate. I think it is the MCL with the ACL bruised. He will be back next year to shine. He's a great kid.

Raceland defense likes a muddy field. We have played some of our best defense in the rain.

I mentioned that last thread to aim you at the position of one BGP that said do you really think your coaching staff is that good? Why yes we do just as NCC would think there coaching staff is that good. We are proud of where this coaching staff has took this group of boys. We think that they have took the boys talent and improved upon them. I think it is a given that Northern Kentucky schools have great coaches and talented players. I also think we old timers are just trying to lift our coaches and boys up and let them know what they have accomplished and we are proud. Hold your heads up high and act like you deserve to be on that field Friday night. Its to lift our team up not to put anyones home team down. No insult taken have a safe trip.

No excuses. I have had a rough week. I want my Rams to win but if they dont congradulations will go out to NCC. There will be no excuses to be made. It will be the best team on that particular night. Be safe.

I understand it is an independent school but i explained why i said that it would just be nice to have the reserves for injuries etc.. I am sorry i said anything. i have to admit it was mainly because i think 2A is classed easy. I am thinking about quitting BGP because it was suppose to be enjoyable talking to each other and the other teams but this is not fun nor is it healthy competition. I have a bigger worry that one of my own is sick and might not get to play. On that note good luck to both teams. Play with your heart to our Band of Brothers.

No crutch it was an opinion. I actually was sitting reading about Russell and their victory. Looking at that class and who was in it compared to the entire class of 1A. Can people please keep the sarcasm off BGP. I was looking at past threads of how much harder NCC schedule was compared to ours. Then i was looking at Russell and Ashlands schedule for playoffs. It doesnt feel good if you feel like you are being attcked. The people that are getting upset are the ones throwing the stats. I wish NCC a safe journey and a safe ballgame. If you read my thread it was more about having more kids to play in case of injury and being wore down.

It just slipped out.HAHA I will arrest myself after the game. I have watched these boys grow up playing JFL. It has always been the same kids fighting and clawing their way for an ounce of respect. It would be nice to have a population were you can be able to switch out the teams when they are wore down or when you have injuries but right now what we have going for us is heart. No stats or records can take away the fact that these boys are A Band of Brothers with heart.

If you would have looked at the other thread that was shut down you would have noticed that NCC said our coaching staff could not compare with theirs. It was a heated thread. So no we did say we had an outstanding coaching staff and that we stood behind them but no we did not compare and no we did not say ours was better just that they could hold their own.

I really do not consider Raceland an Independent school. Its the neighborhood kids that go there. That is the boys that play. You play with what you have. No tuition. No recruiting. Like i said just an opinion. I just want to note I am not talking about NCC particularly i am speaking about the entire class.

The Rams want this and realize that its not impossible but a tough battle. I hope this thread will be polite and encouraging to both teams. Please i am bored out of my mind with stats. Most of us old men can give you the stats on teams since the 50's. It will mean nothing come Friday night. These boys will make their own history. I do have an opinion about one thing and it could be extremely wrong. With that said i still think we are classed wrong i do not think a small independent school needs to be playing private schools. I do not think 2a is classed right either. That said i will not complain any further because my children has assured me that i might be able to get out of the house and watch the game with a ram burger or hot dog.

i have looked back at the thread and this page especially. I think if you will read the content and the way it is presented versus the way Raceland and LCA etc.. has spoken the tone is very different. I think if we remember how something is said speaks volumes. Much respect to NKY.

Bluto, My daughter did say she got to see you. The doctor said no. I tried to sneak out and they caught me at the door. All they gave me was the radio not even a Ram burger. By the way you were dressed i predict pranks all night. The family did say LCA could not have been nicer. Its been great talking to all of you.

I want to thank personally the LCA people on the BGP. Of course they wanted their team to win but they said it with dignity. Encouraging both teams to play hard and have a safe night. They promised to back the Raceland Rams if we won and so they have. Thank you from Ram Country. Trash talking, running stats down everyone's throats, disrespecting coaching staffs will not work on the BGP. How about a new approach? Compliment your team. Predict that they will win and leave it at that. We support our Rams heart and soul but we also respect any team that we play period. To our Band of Brothers anyone at anytime can have the game of their lives. Let this one be yours. GO RAMS!

I love this post. The fact that size shouldnt be the only factor is always a plus. The lineman at Raceland sometimes are overlooked for nominations due to their size. They also average between 190 to 240 at about 6 foot tall. Good for Hopkinsville.

Denton from Raceland is out until next year with an injury. We think the world of him and hate that that happened to him. I would go with Thompson or Caldwell if you go with another one from Raceland.

The kids are not talking. You cant even bribe them to talk. Im an old man and i thought everyone talks when you offer gas money. Nope, their mouths are tighter than Fort Knox.

Who is your linemen vote? I see you might be called a homer like me so i figured you might pick them all.

I did go back to the question presented at the beginning of the thread and it said pick who you think from your team or another team. I am sorry that i offened MLB50 or any other BGP person by naming a couple from the team I am following. I am not from Raceland so I thought i could give an honest opinion.

Anybody think some of the lineman from Raceland. Defense has been their mo all season long. I wont nominate on this thread because they are calling people homers. I am an old man that reffed. I just have been following the Rams for some special reasons. What do you all think?
