I think they were still in the process of fixing things with the injuries. I also think the Raceland crowd knew this would not be a give me game. I figured it would be a seat burner. LCA is in the position we were with Paris on top. Its hard to stay on top and the Rams are coming. We play good on the road. After all our schedule put us on the road all season except four games. Dont give up on your rams. I expect to see as many Raceland fans as possible in Lexington Friday night. As Coach Vanderhoof would say, "I want to see a sea of orange." These boys feed off the crowd. Let's be a part of it.

I am confident the Ram Staff will take care of this problem before next week.

Congradulations to the Rams. I am still trying to figure out why we cannot do better on pass coverage protection. Paris had success all evening on passes. I know the coaches will look at the film and know LCA knows we are not covering the passes.

Confused? Are you saying that the crew that officiated the Raceland/ Fairview game was not out of Lexington because it was reported they were. All I know is at the LCA game there were numerous people saying one of the guys was from Lexington.

i was asking a relative of mine that coaches what happens at her school. Some schools do not have enough revenue to buy uniforms,windsuit, bags etc.. The same for the band and equipment so what is done is concession for younger teams like junior high, freshman, jv go to the girls and the gate goes to the general fund. Varsity games concession goes to the band. The gate also takes money out to pay refs. It seems to work for them. Just to let you know she also informed me that every girl on that team knows football and can tell you the name of the plays.

I agree there were some bad calls but it was to my understanding that at least one if not two officials were out of Lexington and not from here. So where they are from means little. How the ballgame is called means alot

We will hopefully welcome those comments then. I do not want to sound negative tonight but i have been on two different threads and it is a bashing match. Instead of talking to buddies and hoping the best for our teams in Kentucky it has turned out to be a he said she said match. I thought this was a fun site. Uplifting for people to have a good time and debate the games. No offense but I dont think BGP was set up for people to get upset. These are the kids we coach, parent, grandparent, friends etc.. I think we all need to count to ten before we comment on the negative.

You are right about one thing Coach Tackett did show alot of class and alot of people have a great amount of respect for him. I would have hoped that everyone would have showed the class our coaches did.

I do not approved of taunting a team however this happens on both sides if i remember correctly when Fairview came down to our field last year they came in arms locked chanting the entire way up the field whose house our house. Its football good or bad and the girls are paying for their mistake. Now lets get back to football. I would hate to mention the job WLGC did two years ago when parents had to call the radio station for a week complaining how they named names and had opinions about everyone one of the kids. i even remember one comment being, "With all the money Raceland has you would think they could afford jerseys that you could see the numbers."

Honestly sounds like you all want another lost to LCA. These kind of comments are as bad as everyone blaming injuries or the ref's when they get beat. Lets just let Raceland play their game. We as fans will support them and maybe they would appreciate you opinion and the walk down memory lane on the Beechwood threads.

I have already used 3pt's comment for the bottom of my doggy cage. Just like the dog some of those comments are just as full of it. I dont think the people of Beechwood would appreciate his comments. I know some of them and they frankly have more class than that.

Most of the crowd could not hear on one end of the visitors side. It was destorted. On the other side I guess you could hear fine. I just know Cville takes pride in the whole team but has a soft spot for the defense. Just giving him a little shinning time to talk about the Orange Crush. I also agree with the mental mistakes. We have to hold onto the ball no matter what conditions are on the field.

Old Rambler did a good job describing mainly the offense maybe you could add a few words on the defense.

On a final note: I think there are people giving the Fairview team credit. If you read the Independent. They have got far more coverage then what we have received for being a much improved team. We seem to get coverage only when we lose.

No offense but whose side are you on? The boys understand all to well that Fairview was having long practices. Chad Tackett is not going to just lay down. We are just pumping our crowd up. Predictions is coming from the hard hitting team that we have watched the last two games. The Rams never let down the entire game. I imagine Fairview will play the game of their season tonight but as you said dont be shocked if Raceland plays the game of their season tonight. It means everything to them to win tonight. On their bio's Fairview has been the majority of the seniors biggest moments. The ORANGE CRUSH team is coming!!!! How is that for all fired up?

Now back to the game. It is my hope our boys have their game faces on tonight. When I go home I travel through Westwood each night. Last night it was 7 or better and Fairview was still out on the field practicing. Our boys had already done their walk through and was out eating. Westwoods coming be ready. The boys said the coaches tried to stress about this being a rivilary game and how important it was not to overlook it. I want to see the team that took the field aganist Bath and Nicholas. Go Rams!!!!!!

Disregard last comment. I read it wrong. Everyone likes both those young men. However I dont think our senior coaches are a bit worried HAHA. I think the marine (C.T.) and the monster (J.T.) can handle it. I am not sure what other senior boys are coaching so sorry if I left anyone out.

That player was Frank Brown. I can name names i guess he is a part of my families extended family. He can still throw a heck of a pass at a family reunion.

Ram fans need to come out tonight and watch the turkey bowl. Should be an exciting Senior girls versus Junior girls football game. I believe if i heard correctly after ballgame will be the bonfire. Freshman boys will be leaving after school to play Lawrence County. Good Luck to all the Rams.

I totally agree with you with the offense. I am very impressed with them myself. My comments were only in the fact our MO seems to be the first couple of plays being rough on the offense. Kinda like we need a couple of plays to get warmed up. Everyone is really proud of those boys and i wish them all the best Friday. I know their ready. GO RAMS
