  1. DJ is a sophomore
  2. Bowling Green has some offensive work to do, especially with their QB out for the first couple games.
  3. I am not sure whether DJ will dress varsity.
  4. I have to say, they have their work cut out for them. Their season opener @ Moeller will be tough especially with the home field intimidation the Moeller never ceases to provide. However I have faith that MacCue will prep them for this, and they will be given an excellent opportunity to prove themselves in this game.
  5. Hall will start JV as QB.
  6. Could not agree more with all 3. I know that this has been said before, but I have to say it again. Duece will be one of the greatest backs that St. X has ever seen. A comment for Xman... "your sophmore"-if he is the one that I am thinking of-is recovered beautifully and is looking as good as ever. PS--cant wait to see him on the new diamond with the new coach ;)
  7. Hey Ox I agree, a reliablesource says Andy is planning to come back to play his senior year. Not sure of any more details.
  8. Shik went to Georgetown on a football Scholarship.
  9. Coach Bruner is a hell of a coach, and I wish him and Nelson Cnty the best of luck. Hope he is able to settle in smoothly. I am sure it is a very different situation for him considering he has coached at St. X and Cincinatti Colerain. :thumb:
  10. I was more wondering what people were thinking the particular strengths and weaknesses of each player are. Not neccesarily which is a better player. I am personaly confident that Coach Wagoner and Company will have the best man for the job whether it be Ben or Chris. Im sorry that I didnt make my intent clear in the first place. I love both kids, and I meant no harm towards them or the team in the creation of this thread. good call Ox:thumb:
  11. Thanks Ox, I wasnt sure what their defense looked like. You have any specifics on their defense, or perhaps a thread that does?
  12. Anyone know anything about Nelson under Coach Brunner?
  13. If I am not mistaken, the BG QB has a sholder injury that will keep him from playing the X game. This appears to be a significant blow the BG, but I have no knowlege of their bench.
  14. I am very impressed with the attitude and drive of the young tigers. In this hot weather, they seem willing to give everything they've got, which is not something that I saw in the two past teams that proceeded to go undefeated. I havnt seen them in pads so I am not overly confident with their talent, but I am sure that they will give 110% when they are on the field. Oh--I must say I am very impressed with one player in particular-- Jon Buehner who was on the 04 state team has a little brother who has the makes of a true leader. Look for him at QB. Not only this year, but also in the future!
  15. Corwin Hamon (spell?) LB @ St X. Transfered from Trinity and regained eligibility August 1. After a week of watching him practice, I am itching to see him is action.
  16. At latest check with admin, football stadium-including fieldhouse-will be done by April 07, which for those of you who dont know, is way ahead of schedule.
  17. I just wanted to hear what others have to say about Chris Wade and Ben Zoeller before I post my opinion.
