Raceland gets ready to open up the "real" / district season. Betsy Layne is an unknown, new team to the district by moving down from 2A to 1A.

The real season starts next week with district play along with 3 of the next 4 at home.

This one went about the way I thought it would. I did think that Raceland would've scored a tome or two but when you can't run the football then nothing goes. Congrats to the Tomcats on the win. Good luck the rest of the way out.

Love it when the radio crew call Raceland the "Ramblers".

Raceland defense playing well (Ashland broke two big plays of 50+, 60+ for td's) considering the Rams are "MIA" on the offensive side of the ball. 42 total yds. in 1st half, not going to beat anyone with that.

Raceland can't get anything going offensively, 4 yds. total in 1st qtr.

So far we've had 2 penalties that would've gone against Ashland that had the flags picked up, waved off. Hmmm.....

:idunno:, I've been wondering the same thing Bac. Should you see or talk to any of them, tell em' that they have extra "suicides, pukers" to run.
