I think Danville and Boyle both were looking ahead to next weeks game and over looked their opponents this week.

Lincoln Co. quarter back took a beating in this game. Lincoln needs to work on their line or that kid won't make it to the end of the season.

11 of those 26 came in the final game were it didn't really matter because they had already put up 21 of their own. They will also most likely have their best pitcher back (Clay Cinnamon) for the Regional. Cinnamon did not throw a pitch at the State Tournament.

Their pitching is also very good. Cinnamon has not pitched in Dist. or State tournaments so that should tell you how deep the staff is. To win the region I think they have to have him back though.

Not sure. I know Danville plays Lyon Co. and Morehead plays Paducah. I don't know the rest.

Who won the Campbellsville / Shelbyville game Thur. night?

Nope. They both were very competitive. They were in alot of the same tournaments and faced each other in the semi's or the finals of three tournaments. The one that is not playing Legion I believe is at Tenn. Wesleyan this weekend.

Does anyone have any scores from the American Legion tournament games that started this week? I know the Districts were supposed to start this week and the State tournament starts next Tuesday at Morehead St. Un.

Herd today Coach Shope has now had second thoughts and is staying at Mercer. If true he will have some explaining to do at both schools I would think.

Spoke to him last night and he just made it official. He is going to Cleveland St.

Some of those players from Mercer better be coming with Coach Swope if they are going to contend for a regional title next season.

Did Shelbyville throw their top pitcher or pitchers?

Wonder how long he will be there. Every job he has had he has been asked to leave after a few seasons (Bryan Station, Burgin, Lexington Cath.)

He had never signed with Tomas More and he had a really good tournament down there earlier in the Summer at Cleveland St. After the tournament they made him an offer.

I also believe the job at Woodford Co. is now open.

I was told last night that the new Coach at Boyle Co. is Jeremy Shope from Mercer Co.

Boyle Co., Casey Co., and East Jessamine in the 12th. From what I have been hearing there could be a couple more coming open.

He had a great season.
