Does anyone have any scores from the American Legion tournament games that started this week? I know the Districts were supposed to start this week and the State tournament starts next Tuesday at Morehead St. Un.

Campbellsville beat Somerset 3-2 and Oldham Co. beat Shelbyville but I don't know final score. Then Morse Mustangs beat Campbellsville 13-0 last night. All the scores I know.

Mustangs beat Oldham 17-3 tonight

Paducah and Lyon County are coming out of the west.

The Morse Mustangs and the Lexington Legion team both are loaded with talent. I'm going with Mustangs to win it all. Deepest pitching staff in the state by far.

Bowling Green also has a very good team

How is that working with Paul having two teams this summer? Did he combine them for the tournaments?

Nope. They both were very competitive. They were in alot of the same tournaments and faced each other in the semi's or the finals of three tournaments. The one that is not playing Legion I believe is at Tenn. Wesleyan this weekend.

Who won the Campbellsville / Shelbyville game Thur. night?

Shelbyville beat Campbellsville on Thursday night. Then Shelbyville come back to beat Oldham Co. To move on and face the Mustangs in the finals. Brandon Roberts come in the game tonight and completely shut down Oldham from doing anything. Jim "Hoss" Wiley will be back at the state tournament again this year.

Danville beats Shelbyville 14-3. Good luck to both teams at state tournament.

Niner would you know where to see the bracket for the state tournament?

Not sure. I know Danville plays Lyon Co. and Morehead plays Paducah. I don't know the rest.

Shelbyville is banged up going into the tournament. They didn't have 4 of their starters last night and had to take their 3rd baseman out after the 1st inning. So hopefully a couple days off we give them some much needed rest and get them helled up. If there is anybody that knows where I could see the schedule for the state tournament.
