Bowling Green and Shelbyville won their games. Does anybody know the scores of the other 2 games from today?

Paducah beat Morehead 4-2 ... game just ended a few minutes ago. According to Paducah's radio broadcast, they play the first game on Wednesday after playing the late-night game on Monday. What's that about?

Danville beat Lyon Co. 13-2. They play BG at 2:30 today.

When I played American Legion the state tournament made it so the "home" team always played one of the later games. Considering they lost, they probably had to rearrange the schedule a bit to make that happen.

According to the Paducah broadcast, Paducah is playing the 10 a.m. game and Morehead plays at 12:30 p.m.

Not sure then. When it was held in Ashland a few years ago they did everything they could to make sure the Ashland post played the latest possible game.

Paducah beat Shelbyville to advance to the final of the winners' bracket against either Danville or Bowling Green. Last I heard, Bowling Green was up 2-0 on Danville in the fourth inning.

 

Lexington is still alive in the losers' bracket and plays Shelbyville next, I think. Morehead was playing Metcalfe County in the other losers' bracket game.

That's always true for the first game, but you can't dictate the rest.

 

The winners' bracket games are being played at Morehead State and the losers' bracket games, at least the first two today, were being played at the city park.

Danville beat bg 18-6.

Not taken up for Shelbyville by no means but I have never seen where you win your first game and lose you second and have to turn around and play the same day. Shelbyville would have only had to play one game yesterday if they would have lost it's first. In 100 degree heat they should have not tried so hard and used up their pitching in that first game. That bracket was silly and you should only play one game a day in this heat!

Paducah is playing Lexington in the elimination game. Lexington beat Metcalfe County to stay alive.

The Danville Mustangs defeated Lexington Man O'War 21-11 in eight innings to win the state championship. Behind a terrific hitting attack Danville won every game in the tournament on the 10 run mercy rule except Paducah who they beat by 9 runs. If they get average pitching they should be a contender to win the Midwest regional because I can't imagine someone will have much stronger hitting than Danville. Good luck to Coach Paul Morse and the Danville Mustangs and congratulations on a job well done.

In all honesty their pitching is better than their hitting. Im sure Niner will agree with my on this one. With Duran Elmore, Clay Cinnamon, Casey Tiller, Matthew Hounchel, Jacob Bodner, Brandon Weir, Rob Caudill and Austin Baxter as their main pitchers I dont see how anyone can beat them when they are on their game. What do you think Niner?
