Other guys i've heard mentioned. 1. the kcc coach, i forget his name but the rumor has died down after the lee & pcc wins. 2. Holland at PCC was mentioned as not getting along with some staff & might be gone but he is a legend so i dont look for this to happen.

JBS, Jackson city, Buckhorn & Lee have all well exceeded my expecations!!

Where does Gene Combs on Lee fit on this list?? I saw his name mentioned a lot on the 14th region list.

How long will gilbert be out?? i'm assuming the rest of the year??

I thought Osborne was one of there studs?? Did he graduate?

Combs could coach anywhere & could move up the ranks (high school, college & ???)quickly but i think he's satisfied with his location.

So 4 coaches in 4 years may have a factor in this decision?? 9th-cornwell 10th-cornwell/turner/green 11th-smith 12th-?????

Keep in mind that Neeley is a junior! From what i recall, he has had 5 coaches while playing junior varsity or varsity at owsley. He played in 7th under Hicks (i think), 8th under Bobrowski, 9th & part of 10th under Cornwell, last part of 10th under charlie turner, 11th under smith & it appears from what i've heard there will be a new coach his senior year (just speculation). The #'s & coaches may be a little off but he has had SEVERAL coaches & its hard to rebuild or maintain a program with a "constant coaching carousel" This might be a part of the problem!!!

I understand were your coming from but GOOD COACHES must be able to do this. Lee was in the game against KCC & could have won. If they would have, it would have been a brilliant move!! It didnt so he's criticized!! Just something that a coach must be willing to do from time to time.

I've also heard this but also other rumors as well. like holland leaving pcc & then going to hazard. this might be the guy from knotts last year. Smith in owsley. there are all kinds of these tales going around.

Do little leagues even keep up with that?? It would be nice but the high amount of turnover in those leagues (due to parent involvement & then there kid leaves) makes it hard to keep things organized. Or that's how it was when i played in little league. Lee co. may be different??

I'll go with the BOBCATS in this one!! without question!!

That may be it. i know only 1 starts but not sure if there are any more than that. i dont recall hearing of any others.

Estill, Powell, Hazard are always solid but dont know much about them this year. I dont think Lee lost anyone from last year. What will there lineup be like?? does anyone know??

I've seen several posts about congleton. where will he play??

I would have to agree that Gene Combs is a great coach. For what he's done at a small school that didnt have much success since the 80's has been phenomenal.

good argument, i was just wondering about your thoughts on this. I do think that Lee, Leslie and PCC are the top three teams but are not that much better than the next 6 teams (hazard, LCC, Estill, JBS, JCity, Buckhorn)

I dont think Clinton Dixon or Cody Berryman from Estill get the recognition that they deserve. I guess since they're the new kids in town!!

This should be one of the better post seasons in many years!! Every teams hopes should be really high since most have a legitimate shot at making a run for the 14th crown.

please explain? Lee just won the all "a" but did get beat by #25 Brossart. they are 18-6 beating underrated estill THREE times & Powell TWO times. Leslie just beat #1 PCC & have played arguable to toughest schedule in teh mountains I agree with the underrated but needs to include Jackson City.

The legend is 50 years old!! This was a great great story & a bunch of dedicated young men!!

players get mad & talk of quitting but change there mind. It will be interesting to see if his "possible" decision sticks??
