  1. Did anyone from Ashland call and report this to the KHSSA- if not WHY? Seems to me they favor selective enforcement of rules.
  2. Rose Hill won in overtime while starting a 6th and 7th grader. Where is Rickyp ?
  3. I heard there was a scholarship fund set up in his honor by his parents. --- Rickey P. do you have any details?
  4. Im not aware if they played on Tues. in another venue. For my money- if West Carter would have beat R.H. and they had played on Tues. -- you would have never heard about it or they would have rescheduled
  5. The only other school then is West Carter who could possibly be upset. Anyone else wouldnt be playing in the finals anyway
  6. I dont see what is unfair to the 'other' schools. They all played and all LOST except Ashland and R.H.
  7. If it wasnt to far gone it will be after Ashland's varsity game and the dynamic duo on the radio. I would hope they wouldnt drag this thru the mud, but after listening to one of the games this year -I dont think they can help themselves.
  8. Championship nets update: Have been taken to Ashland Sporting Goods for safe keeping overnight.
  9. Are the original nets still going around the Bluegrass in a victory lap?
  10. It would have happened(been inelligible) if they just played J.V. tuesday
  11. Not only that but 5th and 6th graders are not usually physically developed to SAFELY play in a competitive game with 9th graders. Kyle bush is an extremely gifted young person and to compare him to the other 5th and 6th graders in any school(that I have seen) is illogical
  12. OK you have the floor -- are you telling me you think they should have brought the grade school too. This idea about bringing a soph. to a 9th grade tournament- Did Ashland offer it ? I would be surprised if they did.
  13. I was responding to lockdown defender who said R.H. should have played younger guys
  14. According to Ricky P. all players from the 9th grade down were inelligible because they played jv or varsity on Tuesday(except 3 -7th graders and the grade school}
  15. The 2nd leading scorer for R.H. last night was a 6th grader
  16. I think you have lost all perspective if you would even want to see your team playing against a grade school team. :flame:
  17. I wouln't say they should come with ANY team that they could field . That means evidently they would be coming with mostly a grade school team. If I had a child in 5th or 6th grade ,there is no way I would let them play in a highly competitive game with 9th graders unless they were Extremely gifted. What Im curious about is WHEN did everybody become aware there was a problem.
  18. I would like to see it rescheduled too but... My money says the game will NEVER be rescheduled . The official nets have been seen circling the Bluegrass in a victory lap.
  19. Thanks for the correct info. Its funny how I never heard all those other players would be unable to play.
  20. Can you be more specific?
  21. If Rose Hill beats Ashland this year with 8th graders-I would say the future looks darn bright for the next 4 years at least. Im just curious where Ashland's better players are coming from? I dont give R.H. much of a chance of getting to Morehead this year but if they do with 8th graders- you can paint the 16th region royal blue for the next 4 years
  22. With the public schools who have open enrollment --students can choose which school they wish to attend in the public arena as well
  23. The criteria you use for BEST is up to you( team vs individual performance vs atmosphere vs other)
