  1. Pineville 78 Lynn Camp 70 Wildcats make a late run but to much Day-light for Pineville.
  2. :thumb: :thumb:
  3. I think he still does I've also know he can call his own plays if he see's something he thinks that works.
  4. Roman has alot of growing up to do as a freshman clint was alot more advanced coming into his freshman year. But I know this after Clint is gone If lance don't get his shot Roman will have some stiff competion from Travis smith who wii be freshman Romans soph more year.Smith is will be in the 8th this year and he reminds me alot of Clint at this age should be fun for a while in corbin football.I think this will be a great year with many to follow the young kids are there.Don't be surprised to see Roman to play some wide out next year or saftey.
  5. Congrats. How is it going this winter in the weight room make that Jackson kid work extra hard.
  6. Congratulation good fit. I like someone who knows about redhound pride.
  7. I think it will be by flip of coin.
  8. They were quite a few but it was'nt that big a deal back then. Some been posted another one Don Adkins came over from Laurel.Coach Jewall came from Somerset and his Dad coached at Whitley now thats strange.
  9. I WILL GO WITH THAT.
  10. I know of 4 on the 80 team.
  11. Very well put.
  12. It was'nt much of a rivaly in the 70's to 81 the redhounds owned Bell. so I don't know about 50 years of it.And I think Jewall runs the show right. And When he wins one people will ride his ship. Not everbody but most.
  13. The math man likes you don't he.
  14. very well put do you know if there playing east jess.
  15. There middle school has had some good teams the last couple years and some very good looking kids in the system they should put up some quality football teams in the next couplesof year.I think there coach does a fine job and it will show over the next couple years.
  16. Who is 24 for Knox I thought she ran the point very well. She pass the ball as good as I've seen this year.Clay is for real but south could upset them in a game maybe the region.
  17. But you can't move for athletic reasons and thats all this is about and I'm about sure the khsaa will make them sit a year. They don't give kids much of a chance to transfer anymore just ask the kid from bell. If Mike would stay he would be a big factor. But somebody puts the rong thing in his head.
  18. Only God knows why. MY FAMILYS heart goes out to them affected. and your in our prayes.
  19. Cop out? No, just good old fashioned discipline. Setting rules and expecting the kids to follow them is not a cop out. The problem is Moms and Dads who get mad when their baby is told to do something and expected to do it. If expecting a kid to follow rules runs them off, chances are the kid is a trouble maker who doesn't want to be under someone's direction. Coaches should expect to give some a little more than other's. There are kids who need a little more attention but it cannot be done in such a way as to be interpreted as favoritism. The problem is you have good players who because they are good, Mom and Dad expect and cause the kid to expect that they should be treated different and special. That don't happen with Corbin's staff. They try to give all the kids a chance but in return they expect all the kids to follow the same rules. In my experience the kids that have been leaving the last few years are just looking for the easy way out and there shouldn't be and there isn't anything easy about practicing football or any sport but if you don't practice you don't improve your game I don't care who or how good you are. And the Friday night lights is where the pay off is. Especially when you are still under them in November.
  20. If thats the way they feel they should not wait till then they should go on there merry way. They don't belong to start with. But I do know for those who do stick football at any school that football well heip you through life.Especially when times get tough and days get dark.Go back to the days when practice was tough and you thought you could;nt make and the coach was on your but and nothing went right but only to succeed when things were over.I do know this Coach Jewall runs a very discipline and strict program and it will help young men to succeed and be winners and its not for every one.Football is not an individual sport I don't care how good you think you are or who you are.I think corbins coaching staff does an outstanding job teaching that to those who stick it out.
  21. I here Corbin won't realese them. Also with the way the khsaa is they would have to sit a year. I think its time for corbin to kids to relize what they got at hand and grow up which I think alot has to do with parents not all parents but some.Campbell a good kid with alot talent but he need to get his mind right and if thinks he would get any more carries behind lynn camps two backs he won't. His dad and him need to look around and see how hard it is for this kids to transfer it just about don't happen any more and I think corbin won't allow it this time.Fritts will be at corbin.
