Ed Rall is a great coach, man and mentor. Hopefully he will bring success back to GC's baseball team. Glad to see Garrard County get their first win. As a former player of GC, and coach down here in TX's.... I'm glad to see the team back on the right track. Great Job!

Has anyone forgot about the teams that they have played... Danville is 1st in 1A... Mercer first in 2A (which will be a 5A team next year and Henry Clay... if I recall is a very good football team right now or has anyone forgot that) Boyle will be just fine when it comes down to district time.. Robert Dees definitely should get some credit. He runs extremely hard and always run North to South. This kid runs in the 4.5's and is extremely strong. He may be better on defense though as a free safety. He stopped Johnson Central's last drive with his interception when they played Madison Southern.

My guess is that both teams want a rematch (consider last Bell vs MS post...it went on for a week!) so badly that no one knows just what to say at this point...I guess we're keeping our mouths shut, waiting to see what really happens. If everyone said what was on their minds, this thread would probably get closed! Good luck to both teams, I'm definitely making the trip!

I can't wait for this game. Bell and MS have a score to settle and I think both teams will be coming in to this game with a lot of heart. I'm guessing MS by 3, either in regulation or OT...I think they'll pull this one off...they've got revenge on their minds and will be ready to play come Friday!

The Bell Co. vs. Madison Southern game was soooo close, and MS had the game up until some very weird calls were made...(ie, whistles that were said to be blown but weren't..etc.). Not going to open that can of worms though..Bell played hard and won that game. They're a great and solid team... With that said, I've seen MS play and win all season and still get under-estimated. About 90% of the MS vs. JC playoff game posts had JC in favor by quite a bit..and MS came out on top. They are for real!! They've got some great players and a great coaching staff that have lead this team to W's all season..lots of blow-out games this year, too... What else do you want to know? Lots of info here..from a fan who follows them!

21-17 Bell was the MS vs. Bell score... Bell scored with 1 min. left to go in the game. Lots of cans of worms to be opened here, but we're going to keep the lids on them and wait for the rematch. Should be a great game!!

Garrard Co. Vs. Harrodsburg 1996.. The running back from Harrodsburg (Dunn or JOnes kid) was hit by Aaron Ball on a Screen Pass. Knocked him out and Harrodsburg's state run was done. Harrodsburg won 14-13 even thought Garrard beat the state champs that year (beechwood) over at Admiral Stadium that year.... Garrard should have won state that year.... but that's the way the cookie crumbels...
