Frankfort 49-20

My prediction isn't based on SW offense, but more on the defense. I truly understand that SW didn't open the offensive playbook up much. SW has really nice interior line play and nice LB's, but you can't deny that SW got beat on the corner every play that Wayne Co ran outside but one. Don't forget I'm pulling for you guys 110%, but I call them as I see them.

I understand this is no time for egos.. SW has the ability to be a very good team come district play. Great size on the line and a deep backfield with loads of talent. However, after watching them last night some of the inexperience shown, if not for costly turnovers by Wayne Co. the scrimmage would have been a toss up.

Somerset wins this one, Pulaski's year will be next year. I have been steadfast predicting a 42-13 win for Somerset. After hearing how both teams have competed in the two scrimmages I'm going to narrow the score to 42-21 Somerset.

After watching SW last night I will still give RC the edge. If SW can fix the corners then this could be a game. I'll stick with my prediction of RC by 3 td's.

Southern played Bate Middle School.

I didn't get there until halftime but he put on a good show in the 2nd half. He's not very big but is football savvy. If I had thought we could have met up.

I left at halftime and Rockcastle was up 14-0.

It was my understanding that it was closed to the public also, but from hearing people talking this morning at Northerns game it must have been open to the chosen.

Was the scrimmage last night closed to the public? Pulaski seems to be flying high going into next weeks game against Somerset.

I heard that Pulaski won 26-0 on the varsity side.

I don't want to upset Keemo, but Wayne held there own against SW. If not for the costly turnovers Wayne could have won this one or at least been in position to. As it stands I think SW won the varsity play 3 td's to 0. SW's huge O line was the difference.

Could someone from Breathitt Co. give us here in Somerset a scrimmage summary tomorrow night. I don't think I can stay up long enough to here it from our guys.

My thoughts exactly but I wasn't going to say it! I disagree with you on the score though, I've stood my ground twice and said Somerset 42/ PC 13. That may be too much but I do believe Somerset by at least 3 td's.

We welcome all...:thumb: Starting at 4:00 there will be the Parking Lot Palooza. The first 1,000 people will get free t-shirts, there will be free gifts representing all four of the schools, and a free concert featuring Somerset's own LiveFish, a christian rock band who is getting better known around the state by the day.

I'm sure that most of Wayne's team will show up at the Ray Correll Bowl, well at least I hope they do. I like full bleachers...:ylsuper:

I'll find out for certain 1st thing in the morning and post soon thereafter. If Pulaski is at home I would like to see it, if not I think I will try and head southwest and support the Warriors.

Thanks for the compliments. :ylsuper: Somerset dressed 41 the other night again North Laurel, so were up 5 or 6 players from last years numbers. Coach Cobb also feels like this is his largest team in terms of size since he's been at Somerset. I agree with you that several people will be surprised how this team performs on the field.

Where is the scrimmage and what time does it begin?

The middle and visitor side is now pretty good. The home side is still needing some work but should be fine by next friday.

I've heard that Wayne has a nice RB but little more beyond that. Make sure you feel us in on them.

Yes I think that is his # but wasn't going to post it for lack of being certain.

I'm not certain on his number. He is Southern's TB, he's not real big but hits the whole hard and has great speed.
