GRC is the team to beat in the 10th/. But........at this point in the season there's still alot of baseball to play.Anything can happen in the next three weeks before District play.

Not only is Clark Co. the best hitting team it also has the deepest pitching in the region. They play Brossart and Campbell today. Clark beat Lee Co. at Lee Co. Monday 11-3. Borbon has the potential but they lost to Montgaomery yesterday. They just seem to not be able to put it together.

Seems to be a problem everywhere you go. definitely not an isolated problem.

Ishmael and his brother Mike are coaching the Middle School team in Fleming Co. I think maybe Bobby Knipp is helping too. Tubbs is ineligible at this point , heard that Donovan had some problems is ineligible to. Unsure about Overby. Fleming is extremely young and thin.

Lee County going away with it.

Fleming will have a long season. Fritz for sure the only player. Clark beat them 13-1 in 6 innings and held up runners to keep the score reasonable and to get another inning in to allow another pitcher toget some work. Fritz IS a stand up guy and will continue to play hard and pass along alot to these younger players.

Should a say Senior miss Prom or graduation because a coach schedules games on those days? I think not. But......... alot of coaches schedule games on both days. Tough choice .

Clark and East Carter was rained out on Fri. Clark played Powell Co. Sat. and won 13-3, then played Fleming and won 13-1.

This from a Clark Co. Fan: We play Lee Co. every year and they are always very sound and seem to have several young players, they are or will be a tough team ; we just played Powell Co. in the Foothills Classic this weekend and beat them 13-3 I think, they are still a few years away, they were not very impressive as they miss played fly balls or showed lack of effort on some flies also they're pitching was very weak. I'll tell you more about your region when we get back from playing in the Hazard Tournament later in the week.

GRC: Tristan Jones and Robell Rogers

GRC in the 10th/. Tristan Jones is a hoss.

GRC has a transfer from Harrison Co coming in for baseball this season. I think there have been some grumbling about this but i don't know the particulars of this case. But it does make a difference if its a parent move. They had 2 transfers from Fleming Co for football last season and it was parent/job moves and took a little while for KHSAA to rile them eligible.

Larry Allison at Clark Co.

Clark Co. is a senior heavy deep team with 5-6 quality pitchers. I hope everyone keeps over-looking them.

Junior Jeremy Greene from GRC will surprise some people this year. Should excell in 2007 as a Senior.

GRC- a QB for 2006

I hope GRC stays under-rated. Because as deep as they are with pitching, hitting and a Senior heavy team look for them to go far. And Yes, Larry Allison is one of the best in the business. All the ingredients for success in place.

Bennett from GRC looked good at times last year but only threw against 2 quality teams. Looked solid against Boyd but was rocked by Henry Clay. The six errors Baller mentioned didn't help but honestly HC hit the ball hard on him. Hope he gets consistent this year. GRC will need him . But.........GRC IS deep with pitching.

GRC coming from down 19-0 at the half and shutting out Pulaski SW in the 2nd half to win the game.

Great individual talent no doubt. But seemed to lack discipline and team chemistry.
