  1. What does Dunbar have back from last years team, because the majority of the team for Ryle is back from last years whooping. I'll take Ryle with Scottie Gray and Vince Murrary having huge games. Ryle 35 Dunbar 14
  2. Scottie Gray was the answer. 4 TD's and defensive INT's. On an cool evening like this I would suggest not throwing to this kid's side of the field because he will make you pay for any bad pass thrown his way, and once he has the ball in his hands he becomes a running back again. I wont butcher his name on here but #8 is a very good compliment to #3 at saftey on that side of the ball. Vince Murrary showed on his 79 yard TD run how dangerous he is, and that's after playing the whole night at MLB too.... Can't wait to see what the Raiders will look like when they can open the offense up more with there QB because they have two receivers in #12 and #25 who I think can make big plays if given the chance.
  3. Well they dont have a QB capable of throwing any descent throws right now until there starting QB comes back from a broken jaw. Right now the QB is a WR/DB and IMO it's just hurting the offense. The threat of a pass is not there at all right now.
  4. Ryle has to find a way to put points on the board, because I don't see them scoring any more than 14 or so If they stick to the offense they were running against Glen Este. They need 110% better play from the QB position this week IMO if they want to get to rolling...
  5. I was at the game and here are a couple of my observations... Ryle's QB play/ offensive play calling in this game was just not gonna get it done today. Pee Wee style running offense and One look QB who throws the ball up to the WR without even gettin a good look of how open he is. They will be much better when there starting QB's jaw is ready to take hits. The Defense for Ryle was pretty stout for the first half, but wore down when the offense couldnt move the ball at all in the second half. Dont be fooled Glen Este is a pretty good football team in comparison to Ryle but for a Division 1 school in cincinnati they are way down. Glen Este IMO would lose to Highlands, Cov Cath, Beechwood... by probably 14 points atleast. Glen Este has a monster FB who gets the ball alot in #32 he just wore out Ryle in the second half. For Ryle to do good this year in district there going to have to get #25 to WR and not QB and just have there starting QB in there healthy and ready to go. It's not easy to move the ball when theres 9 defenders in the box everyplay because you can't throw the ball.
  6. NCC is very solid on defense.
  7. It's been a long season since they played.
  8. Lex Cath has always choked in the playoffs, and until they get over this hump I don't see them getting past Highlands this upcoming week.
  9. Tyler Madlom - Ryle I'm sure he's already getting offers from schools like WKU, but on Rivals I read a tidbit saying Kentucky, and I think Louisville were showing interest.
