One thing for sure both teams have a rivalry that growing every game even thoguh we are in seperate districts, you feel it at the games. I think if Coach Hinson stayed at Deming before he took the St.Pat job he may have well been the Coach at Deming. But I don't blame him for jumping at the chance to take over at St.Pat it was an oppertunity to coach at the time.

The Newsome Kid is a bruiser he was tough to defend, I say this is oneof the best games the Black Devils have played they were rebounding more something they were lacking on as late and they played really well. If they can put 4 quarters together, like Coach Johnson said then good things will come.

This is what proably the whole discussion between the 2 coaches was about the point being took away from St. Pat and the frustration that Caoch Hinson felt trying to get his team to a level they should be at both Coaches are professional and they will work things out. As for the scorekeeper whether she was a fault or not may or may not affect the outcome of the ball game we all make mistakes, who among us haven't may cast the first stone. Fine game by both teams.

Granted I didn't think the boys would go 1-4 in the Lloyd Memorial Tournament. I would keep my head up boys and concentrate on winning the next few games ahead of you instead of whats been happening to you as of late, Remeber there is no "I" in the word team. Deming by 10pts.

Talked to Rex Schalch's dad yesterday he will have to have surgery on his hand, Rex is a very good defensive player and will be missed. The Devils are going to have to turn things around and get back to what was workin' for them earlier in the season or it's going to be a long season.

Caleb Curits of Deming. On todays squad Austin Stiitt I've noticed in his JV games he can do alot for the varsity if given the chance.

At Lloyd memorial Tournament: J.B Holmes had 20pts. to lead Henderson County over Deming despite Nathan Mitchell and Luke King's 21 pt apiece perfomance.

Starts Dec26, teams included: Walton-Verona vs Holy Cross Dec 26 Dec 27 Silver Grove vs Lloyd Memorial Bullitt East vs TBA Holy Cross (Covington) vs TBA Grant County vs Muhlenberg South Deming vs Henderson County Bourbon County vs Conner Oldham County vs Villa Madonna Newport vs Bullitt East Holmes vs Seneca Continues until Dec 30. Looks like some good teams in here, Black Devils can use this to get ready for the MCIT and the All A coming up.

Half to agree that they must utilize Grause inside a little more. Surprised why Schalch wasn't there unless it was because of illness.

As I see it Deming had a 56-54 win over Brossart last year at the Bracken County tournamnet but lost later to the Stangs' 65-45 at Mt. Olivet, they were without the services of one of the King boys don't remeber which in that game.(Someone told me it was Kyle.) So What I'm saying is anything can happen. But the game is at Brossart so I'll give the knod to them.

Game is tonight at Brossart. Deming is 5-0, Brossart is 4-1. Any insight to this game?

At Bath County: The Lady Devils(5-3) are at 2-1 in the tournament losing to Nicholas County 51-48. earlier they beat the Lady Jackets before on Dec13 at Deming in OT 68-65, went on to defeat Lee County 71-44 and Fairview 53-33. They still have 2 Games to go against TBA and Powell County.

I read that Cambell had 33 pts. for Nicholas County, not much help from anybody else.

Will be waiting for Friday night at the Devils Dome. Our inside presence of Garth Grause could be a problem for The Polar Bears, he just needs to be a little more aggresive something I've always said.

Seems to me they come out flat and never really got into rythem. Same problem that plaqued Coach Doyle last year, It's still early yet they can still turn things around.
