  1. Tonights Ludlow vs. Silver Grove game, Dan Penick had the pleasure of the Head Coach and an assistant of Wright State University in attendance. Seems they very serious about Dan.
  2. I guess this list is just a popularity contests for the big regions, there is absolutely no way Pat Elliott and Tyler Mains are not both top 25 players in KY at their respective positions. D 1 colleges are missing the boat on both, Pat could play the 3-4 spot on many teams and Tyler could lead 100 different teams at the PG. Very intelligent and aggressive floor leader.
  3. I believe that last year Pendleton Co.'s student section was chanting Overrated to S. Laurel at the 5th/3rd, after their butt spanking. I guess one never knows!!
  4. I believe that last year Pendleton Co.'s student section was chanting Overrated to S. Laurel at the 5th/3rd, after their butt spanking. I guess one never knows!!
  5. What is the early info on who is being recruited by whom? No hearsay needed on this thread, only accurate information please!!
  6. It's not by how much, just that you do win. Last nights game I believe was in Georgetown, tonights in Cynthiana. This would make a difference to Harrison plus it's a regional game. Remember every game cannot be and should not be a blow out.
  7. Final tonight in Cynthiana. Cats continue to roll through the 10th.
  8. Not sure of the correct spelling, but I like the Deshai kid. I feel that he is a gem waiting to be polished. I see alot of potential in him, I wish he could have played last year as well, it sure would have been a big help for his progress. He's smooth, can jump well and he has a nice shot and a great hustler on the floor.
  9. Wow!! Not to familiar with Christian Academy, but is this a shocker or what?
  10. This game is now a final, I believe Pendleton 68 to 27 Bracken. Something like that. If I am wrong, someone please correct me, my Info is second hand.
  11. At the Half, I believe that Pendleton leads 38 to 11.
  12. Arguably, these were very good athletes, but another name to throw out there is Rick Elrod father of Jon Elrod. Rick was an all around athlete, ball handler, shooter, passer, defender, could jump with the best and also a nice 6'4" Guard. Went on to a stellar career at Georgetown College won numerous national awards on the NAIA Level, drafted by the Phoenix Suns the same year as Kyle Macy I believe, then decided that basketball was now a part of his past and it was time to begin his adult family life. A class individual and good citizen.
  13. Thanks, also, I now see the thread has been corrected.
  14. ????? One thread said Doss the other says Desales ?
  15. The 1st name that came to my mind was Ronnie Lyons, however, based upon pure accomplishments I would have to give my vote to Chris Lofton. One of purest b-ball players that I have ever seen come from the 10th. My sentiments as well, Tubby blew this one, he should be in Lex. and not Knoxville.
  16. I agree with some of your content, but this could have been easily solved by having 10th call in the 11th and vice versa. Something so simple could be easily resolved by this method. Yes, they are all BBA Officials, but I'm sure they call in both, so at tourney time just move them from their home region and case is closed. I do appreciate all the input, I have actually enjoyed it both pro and con.
  17. I feel sorry for the BBA if you are a member, because you just did'nt get it. I could care less if this official or any other official attend ballgames, however, I do care if there are connections from games that this official calls that may be misconstrued. I only mentioned this thread out of general concern for officials. And yes I refereed for 10 yrs. so I do know a little myself. And further more I do notice people when they sit right in front of me, I try to pay attention to my surroundings. This is not as if I was looking for something!!!! Again for you Bozo's please take the text as it was intended, and not as if it is a capital crime for officials to attend games as a spectator!!!
  18. Talk about getting a life, Did anyone seriously read my post in the contexted that it was written. My complaint is with the assigning Secretary of the Bluegrass Asso., yes I did see other officials, however they did not call a game that had direct implications on the outcome for a particular school that they might have attachments to. I never once questioned this officials integrity, I did question the secretaries ability to schedule officials the officials properly!! My question was to remove any doubt that might be created in this particular situation.
  19. This is not a case of being hyper sensitive, however, the P.C. and Bourbon Co. game did have strong implications for Montgomery Co., therefore he should not have put himself in that position. If I were Montgomery Co. who would I want to play? P.C. or Bourbon Co., after Saturday night I guess that would be obvious.
  20. Saturday night I watched as one of the officials from Friday nights game between P. C and Bourbon Co. was in attendance for the finals. He decided to sit on the Montgomery Co. side. Coincidence ? I don't think so considering what appeared to be his children were wearing all Montgomery Co. garb. The Bluegrass Assoc. covers 3 regions, I feel that during the districts and regionals that officials should not be calling a game that may have implications for a respective school district that they may have ties to, the assigning secretary for the officials should be aware of any possible improprieties that could occur from such situations. I do not question a persons integrity in this position, however, they should realize the possible problems that could occur and RECUSE themselves from this. Because the Bluegrass Assoc. covers such a large area with 3 regions this should never happen! Anyone have any comments to the contrare?
