Good news for Megan Reese

Praise be to God. I have prayed for her everynight since I heard the horrific news. CONGRATS Megan... Will she be able to return to the Lady Royals and if so, when? -
Bracken Co./Dayton

Bracken Co. posted a good win over Calvary on Monday. There are young, having only 1 senior on their roster. I think Bracken Co. will pull out a victory! -
The Bracken Co. Lady Bears will be traveling to Dayton tonight. The Bears are coming off a win at home against Calvary Christian and this is Daytons first game. What do you all think of this one?

Nathan Mitchell played but was held scoreless... I talked with Coach Kelsch and I think he mentioned that Mitchell only got 2 shots... He will ahve to get some more shots in the future to help Massey and Graves carry the scoring load. -
Mason County-St. Patrick Predictions
U Reach I Teach replied to mcpapa's topic in KY Boys Basketball (High School)
Mason County will win this game, but I can assure that Coach Jason Hinson will ahve this team prepared. Jason is one of the great young coaches in the 10th region and will do what he can to pull an upset here. Mason is a very good team and is the regions best, but dont look for St. Pat to be intimidated by their cross county foes like most other teams are. -

Baker did not play.. He has been kicked off with a few other buddies for disciplinary reasons... I heard why, but dont know if they should be discussed on a public forum. -

I have never every seen a girl have this kind of luck. 3 seasons in a row with a knee injury.. Not only bad luck for her, but for also the Lady Royals. Coach Buser already has a think bench and this makes things ever worse. -

That is without a Jesse Hall who left at the end of the 1st with what appeared to be an injury... Can someone help us out with this? -
I will tell you that this game will go down to the wire because this is a rivalry between two old 38th District teams and two very small Class A teams. I would say that Augusta is more talented, but that doesnt always matter. Deming will play hard and will scrap and the game is at Deming, so it will be a nail biter... I recently talked to Coach Kelsch of Augusta and he is very concerned about this game...

St. Patrick's River Valley Classic

She never has or never will have the quickness of a Miranda Hales, but she has something Hales didnt have... AN OUTSIDE SHOT!! Mason will need her to contribute this year if they want to get farther then last year. They better get a bench! -

Reese did play and played well! I have known Megan for sometime and I couldnt wish anything better but a successful, uninjured season. If anyone deserves it, its Megan. She shot the ball well and I was surprised how it seemed that she played with no fear after injuring both knees the past two seasons.. She will definately be a positive for the Lady Royals. GOOD LUCK MEGAN! -

They did lose a lot, but as a 10th Region basketball fan I have the utmost respect and faith in Coach Reitz. He seems to do a great job regarding the amount of talent he is given. Good Luck Coach Reitz! -
Predictions on 10th Region
U Reach I Teach replied to HCballa41's topic in KY Boys Basketball (High School)
I have seen the King Twins play and I will say both of them are just as good as any other 8th grader in our region. Last year as 7th graders they played JV and made differences in games. They also won the 7th and 8th grade Limestone Championships which has most teams in our region. It contains: Fleming Co, Bracken Co, Augusta, Deming, St. Pat, and Nicholas Co. Mason Co. used to be in the Limestone but went to another conference. I will say this and I feel comfortable saying it. The King Boys probably couldnt beat Mason Co. by themselves, but they both could start on Mason Co. team and make them good.. -

Cats Pause Rankings

Turley is higher than this... She is more productive and a better payer than Rutherford, Litzinger, and Carmack... I think Chambers should be a head of Cline. I saw Mason Co. play a few games last season and Cline ran the team, but they wouldnt have won if not for Chambers. -

Im not going to say Bourbon is going to be better than Harrison, but I will say that it is safe to say that Bourbon Co. should be a lot higher on the list.
