Was just looking at some maps. It's about 64 in Louisville, but 76 in Paducah. That clearing/heating is moving to the NE. 

UofL closing early this afternoon as a precaution.

In Louisville, the window for the worst is about Noon through 4pm. So adjust that accordingly as you move east. 

The more sun/heat, the higher the potential for significant severe weather.

I'm already seeing some clearing looking west from St. Matthews. That's not good if it's already clearing. 

Made it into the office. Strong storm moving through Louisville. Lots of lightning, ridiculous rain.

I'm on a conference call with the National Weather Service-Louisville office. Confidence is high in the severe storms tonight after midnight. Louisville area around 12–2 am. Cincinnati/NKY, 4–7 am.

Based on that timing, in theory those storms could clear out in plenty of time to cause a problem tomorrow afternoon. 

Looks like things are really ramping up on this one... I'll be paying super close attention. 

My cousin has autism. He will be graduating from Frankfort High School in June and will be off to college!

Would love for NC State to send Purdue home, but I don't see it happening. 

UConn is a buzz saw right now, I don't see Alabama stopping that.
