I’ve shared this “hot take” several times in several places, sometimes it’s not well received, but oh well…
The WNBA, and women’s sports in general, will never be popular until women start supporting them.

I guess I am asking about the total compensation package and what is available beyond base salary that can mostly be counted on.
I don't know that there's really much "compensation package" in the WNBA. Outside of endorsements, that's pretty much what they make.

Will she be able to make more money in the WNBA next year than she can make by staying in college?
The highest paid player in the WNBA is making $252,000 this year.

Absolutely not, if we're talking about base WNBA salary.

Louisville has landed Sun Belt POY Terrence Edwards out of the portal. Edwards led JMU with 17.2 ppg, 4.4 rebounds, and 3.4 assists. Shot 34% from three.
Big early pick up for Pat Kelsey and the Cards.

My conspiracy theory is he will withdraw from college, not get drafted, and LeBron will force the Lakers to sign him as a free agent.
That would fly in the face of LeBron's "he's is own person" schtick.
Wouldn't surprise me in the least, though.

It looks like it will be best to travel to Illinois or Missouri.
Yeah I'm not going that far. 😂

Trying to decide if I want to head west or north for totality. I'm trying to get home before 10pm, lol.

Has Bronny hit the portal yet?

There are reports that he's in the portal, but I don't know if there's been anything "official."

Wondering if this would be a possible landing spot for Jacob Meyer. Unless he's committed somewhere already & I missed it. Would definitely give the Cards a scorer.
I have already seen Meyer's name in the fold for Louisville. Not sure if he ends up there, but I'd imagine they'll talk.

Hopefully. While sitting here we just got an alert that our 1:45 flight is now departing at 2:35. 🤞
Safe travels!

If it’s that warm and that humid that far north already, that is not good.

Sitting on the plane waiting. The pilot said they have two wait 15 minutes from the last lightning strike before planes can begin departing again. If that doesn't happen soon, I don't see us leaving CVG before 4:30. This sucks.
It should actually be clearing in that area relatively soon. You should be able to get out.

This is where I am. He’s been really good at times, but I’ve really never gotten the hype on him.
