As for this game, no doubt that JC is the favorite (higher seed, home field) They are supposed to win this game. The shock factor will only come if they lose. The path is set for them to make it to Louisville. Win and play at home until the championship. Ashland has nothing to lose. They will be decided underdogs in most ratings. They is no pressure on this team. They can for once leave it on the field. If "Howdy Bill and Uncle Mo (momentum) sit with them it could get interesting.

Elliott has shooters no doubt, but can they defend the paint? A team must consistently perform on the defensive end to win a tournament with good competition and that is the question mark that Elliott has right now. I'm not saying that they can't, I believe that they have the ability to pressure the ball well enough to limit or disrupt the entry passes. On the ball pressure will be the key to their year.

My bad, I thought that you may play a home and home during the regular season. I guess I should make that 8%. Probably for the best, I made a trip to Elliott in the late 80's for a little hoop action, and that is the one that I didn't make it back from alive.

I think the small schools will be more than in the hunt. Last year Fairview was more than in the hunt and Lewis made a nice run before that. One thing is for sure, Russell wears the bullseye. If you want to know how you measure up, play the Devils.

It hasn't been that long ago that a Boyd County team was seeded 4th and went to Bell County and came home with a playoff win. In the playoffs anything can happen. Teams have to play every play as if it is the last. good luck to both but I will have to pull for Coach Evans.

The action is simple, with one arm it would resemble the spiking of a volleyball or a throwing motion, obviously if both appendages are used it would be of the two armed variety. Usually this motion is vertical but occasionaly I have seen a horizontal and even diagonal version. I have seen it performed sitting and standing. I have even seen sections synchronize the movement resulting is a score of 9.8. If a person wants to stick the landing they can include a head nod or a spin at the end.
