  1. Yes Cincinnati has boomed into a superior power throughout the state in D-1. They used to get 1 good team every few years make it to the playoffs. Now they got 2-3 teams competiting locally for state. I love it.
  2. Great pix's! Is that a point and shoot!?
  3. I remember the Mayfield people telling me that they could and would pass the ball if needed. I said learning how to pass in the state championship game was a little late. Gotta mix it up to win in present day.
  4. Very well. I would compare them to a strong Beechwood team.
  5. I hope so today and good luck to your Russell boys I hope to see them and Newport go at it again. Sure was fun.
  6. Yeah but they lost early on to CCH didn't they? CCH was no joke as I said a top 5 team in the state. NCC was clicking on all cylinders the last few weeks. Would have been fun to have seen although LC would have been the favorite no doubt.
  7. Russell I agree obviously. LexCath would have been interesting. Remember CovCath lost only by a few in a shootout. CovCath was probably the 2nd best 3A team this year. Trinity I don't know. But this lil 1A school had alot of fire power this year.
  8. I was actually DDing tonight!!!!!
  9. Without sparking up a fire fight I hope not... I think NCC could have beaten Russell and challenged LexCath and maybe Trinity.
  10. Congrats St. X they passed all their tests and tonight faced Mr. Football and still passed! You deserve it!
  11. ALL Mayfield fans on here were promising Mayfield would go toe to toe with the Breds. I am not sure what happened. I wasn't there but had a strong feeling the Breds would win.
  12. Wow hes back good to see. Way too good Breds! I told ya Mayfield the Breds weren't nothing to mess with!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They had each playoff opponent call them out each week well they responded!
  13. And too think CovCath was that close with the best team in the state.. wow.
  14. Bob will stay until his health no longer allows him too.
  15. I dont think Boone has ever won a state title in ANY sport. Unreal.
  16. His name is Sam Diehl not Beihl or you can call him Mr. Diehl :sssh:
  17. I like NCC in this one. Extreme athletic team. Will be the most athletic team Mayfield has faced. They can run the ball extremely well then open up the field like a surgeon with the passing game. Not too mention the defense is very tough alot of kids play both ways. Sounds like Mayfield relies on the run. They won't get it done just running the ball against a speedy physical NCC team ask Lex Christian if you dont believe me. Mayfield says they can pass but the state championship game is a bad time to start trying. NCC 31 Mayfield 17
  18. I was making reference to division 1 football in Ohio (which is the highest level) since this talk was of St. X. Elder and Colerain also compete in D-1. Elder was the first team to win state in 2002 since 1987 amongst D-1 teams in Cincy. If you call that success... well then your success levels are different from most peoples. Also you mentioned Fairfield. Well Fairfield is in Fairfield OH, not Cincinnati OH.     Might want to learn your facts before you attack people :thumb:
  19. Cincy football does NOT own Ohio. Cincy is a power but Cincy I believe got their first state title a few years back with Elder.
  20. Congrats to the Breds! One more test to pass I hope you ACE it like you have the rest. Average Joes hope to see you on this thread, good year for Somerset but as we advertised NCC was for real.
  21. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA... I hope AJG doesn't go into the witness protection program after Somerset is beat like Blueto did when Lex Christian was. No shame in a loss boys. Come on out and talk. The board goes year round after football season.
  22. I think Blueto is no longer with us. Very sad, when im wrong I still show up to face the jury.
  23. A coach can teach football but he can't teach class.
