No excuse for Pikeville to lose to a team they beat by 30+ a few weeks ago. Should be a lot of gossip around Pikeville for the next few weeks. I look for a cakewalk to the regional championship for Somerset next week.

How in the world is Ashland even in this game. 7 fumbles while losing 3 of the them. A great effort by the TomCat defense thus far. Can the offense help them out with one more drive?

Its good to see the Pirates have snapped out of the coma they were in during the 1st half.

Sometimes your lucky to get the bad games out of the way against teams that you can still beat even with the mistakes.

Is Hazard that much improved from the "beating" they took a few weeks ago from Pikeville or are the Panthers just overlooking a team they know they should beat? One word for Pikeville this year, FUSTRATING. You never know which team will show up. Hopefully they can hold on and next week might be their week to play really good. They rotate weeks, one good and one bad.

The Dr. Jeckyl and Mr. Hyde Panthers have shown up again. I truly expected a much easier game for the Panthers. Why is it one week they look like serious championship contenders and the next week they look like they arent interested in even being at the game. IMO this team has the talent to make a run late into the playoffs but it just seems they lose focus at the most unthinkable moments. Come on Panthers, get it going.

Could be a sign of overlooking the BlackCats. Hopefully thats all it is and the Pirates shake it off and realize they're in for a fight.

I guess the fumble bug has reared its ugly head again. How in the world can this still be a problem this late in the season? We might get lucky and beat P-burg with the fumbles but our season will end next week for sure if something isnt done.

Possible but I believe that team was much more talented than this years team. They are playing their best ball right now and beating Belfry doesnt seem as far fetched as it did some 5-6 weeks ago.

Awesome win by the Blackcats. Not many thought they could do it again but they proved a lot of people wrong. Its really a fitting end to the Belfry/P-burg rivalry. One more time in the playoffs for the district championship. The closing chapter in a series of memorable games. Good Luck next week to both teams.
