Belfry 45 Shelby Valley 0

Featured Replies

Congrats Belfry. Good luck next week. Also Congrats to Coach Haywood on win #290.

Way to go BIG RED!

Now lets rest up and come Monday we need to get ready for a hungry Blackcats team that will be out for revenge. Enjoy tonight but next week we have another step to climb on our way back towards that goal of making it back to Louisville's Papa John's Cardinal Stadium.

How good did bobby burton play on defense

Good job Belfry...Now lets get ready for next week :fight:

Congratulations Pirates!!!

Let's have CAM rocking with Red next Friday!!!!!

WAY TO GO PIRATES........yall walking the dog! .....TO THE VILLE!:thumb:

It was a very ho-hum victory. Seemed like Belfry approached the game with more of a practice mentality instead of a playoff mentality. I felt as if Ivan Lee looked really good tonight on both sides of the ball... the series where we ran May at HB and Lee at FB was a promising preview of next year IMO.

Hmmm...............tough cookie......45-0 , is not ho-hum..good win.

modok,

You do realize I am a Belfry fan don't ya? You can take my word that tonight was a "ho-hum" performance by Belfry.. the Pirates didn't play with emotion, they didn't execute well, and if Belfry takes the same approach next week they will get beat..

EYE HEAR YA........Sometimes its hard for a team to get up for a game that they win 45-0 even with a sub-par performance ....there just kids:cry:

Yeah and Coach Haywood had 3 offensive lineman setting out with mior bumps letting them heal. That makes a difference also. And he worked on alot of things.

A rules question I do have. Belfry on 4th down and short went with what they called snap down were the line starts in a up position and then goes down to a 4 point stance on hutt. It acorss drawed Valley offsides but they called a false start on us. When Haywood asked the reff said that rule was changed two years ago. Is that the truth because Coach didnt agree with it? If it is weve gotten away with it alot because we use it often.
