  1. Well deserved. Congratulations...and keep it up in the 16th.
  2. I get these odd "quick twitches" all the time in my eyelids, my back, legs, etc. I've always believed it was age related...now I know I'm just "special.":D
  3. :thumb: Thanks, Spindoc. I was just getting up to get toothpicks for my eyes when I mustered the strength to hit the scroll button one more time.
  4. Congratulations to the Lady Rams...and all in Ramland. As always...I hope the Lady Royals get by you to earn another trip to Richmond, but should you make it there...you'll find fans in this household.
  5. I once saw a 16th Region ref wearing what appeared to be Michelin tire around his waist. No, wait...I now recall that the guy was just a porker.
  6. Stats? Was Scott County at full strength? Can SC defend inside?
  7. Quite courageous...but I would expect nothing less from her.
  8. I still don't excuse her missed free throws...but I promise I was calm about it.
  9. And one with which I am in complete agreement.:thumb: Hey...I'm just nitpickin'...and I think I gotcha!
  10. Trust me...I agree totally...and say so. And about the date...well, I'm glad I was wrong.
  11. Congratulations. What kind of size does Ironton have this year?
  12. Tonight's quips coupled with your criticism of her after the Boyd County game...sounds like sour grapes to me...and more than an adult would say about a kid. The sulking theory made sense to me.
  13. Sounds like Queen must have turned down The Walrus' invitation for a date....and he's still sulking about it.
  14. Actually, I got them from Emily Queen's mother...Rose Hill's statistician for the past 4 years. The mistake was mine and I've made the necessary corrections in the previous post.
  15. I'd say a decent effort for having played 32 minutes at her pace...and with the physical pounding she took all night.
  16. RHCS stats: Queen: 30 pts, on 12/21 shooting (1/4 3ptrs), 5/10 free throws, 10 rebs, 8 steals, 1 blk Terry: 13 pts, on 5/10 shooting (2/6 3ptrs), 1/2 free throws, 8 rebs, 2 steals, 2 asts, 2 blks Faulkner: 14 pts, on 5 /13 shooting (0 3ptrs), 4/7 free throws, 7 rebs, 5 steals, 4 asts Gambill: 4 pts, on 1/2 shooting (1/2 3ptrs), 1/2 free throws, 1 reb It should be noted that the figures above represent jump shots on the part of RHCS's two big girls. Likewise their rebounds (only 5 offensive boards). Queen and Terry were kept outside....and I mean outside the perimeter...all night long. Queen received an entry pass on one trip down the floor when she was on the low block...the only time she was there, as the Lady Royals ran a weave uptop, beyond the arc, the entire game. Terry, the best inside finisher in the 16th Region...with or without contact... did not get the ball once in the low post. Go figure.
  17. RHCS's official stats: Queen: 18 pts on 7/15 shooting (0/3 3ptrs), 10 rebs, 4/5 free throws, 3 stls, 5 turnovers Terry: 22 pts on 7/11 shooting (2/2 3ptrs), 9 rebs, 6/9 free throws, 7 blks, 6 stls, 5 turnovers Faulkner: 17 pts on 5/16 shooting (0/3 3ptrs), 7 rebs, 7/12 free throws, 5 assts, 3 turnovers Leah Terry: 4 pts, 2 rebs
