Great game plan by Rex and the eagles. The Royals hung tough and won one with defense and free throw shooting down the stretch. Great job by the Rose Hill guards to limit Barkers looks in the second half. Positive minuetes by Chase Jackson as well. Super effort by Alex Barker!

Goradio, In my 20 years of basketball in the 16th region Ive never saw a referee abuse a player like what I saw last night. In a game that saw at least 5 players foul out, at least 2 incidents where 2 players dive into the stands after a ball, I would think that the ref would be best served watching the his whole coverage area rather than trying to see if all shirts are tucked in. Which by way Jacksons was NEVER totally untucked. I guess wearing a sloppy uniform will be the next thing added to the KHSAA rule book.

I was told the paper had a early cut off date. It will be in the paper tomorrow.

The problem here is that some officials enforce it some dont. Many games I have seen players from other teams playing with there shirts out. Also three fouls were called by the other two officials for pulling the jersey out. That didnt deter the one official from still harping on it.

Ive saw Vanhoose of Russell and Ferguson of Elliott play a whole game with there jersey untucked. Why were they not forced to the bench??? Maybe the old guy should stick to doing Tomcat games. G

I agree on Sutton. He will be a very good head coach. He has a mind for the game as good as any young coach in the area. He has a love for GC that cannot be matched.

I dont see why anyone would be worried about a team with no seniors and has 7th graders playing for them. All the coaches in the region should be lining up to play Rose Hill. Its an easy W baby.

Hey wireman im pretty sure if rowan has any openings next season the hill can find some room for them on there schedule. i KNOW the hill offered to come to morehead this year and was turned down. the hill may be the only team in the region that really means that they will play anyone anywhere anytime

If the Lions or Tomcats dont win the 64th someones head should roll. No way Fairview or Rose Hill can compete with the big boys.

You guys are right Rose Hill hasnt played anyone or beaten anyone that can play. Maybe one of these days we will be on the level of some of are 16th region brethern. I cant wait until we can hold our heads up high and look the people of this region in the eye.
