Baylor dug a deep hole and still almost pulled it off. I’m not a fan of North Carolina by about 100% dislike. I would cheer for University of Cuba over them. 😄

Great game. I watched on NFHS. Had to tolerates the video freezing up for about 20 seconds at 5 minute intervals throughout the game which was annoying but still enjoyed. Congratulations Warren Central! You have made superfan DragonFire very happy. 🤗

Murray was up 3 and I take my dog out for a walk and come back and Warren Central is up 9. The Dragons can score in bunches and quickly, too.

Covington Catholic was just too big for the Tomcats. They had no one to match up with Starks and the other big kid .And if Ashland doubled them they simply kicked it to shooters like a good team is taught to do. I know most are predicting GRC to win it all, me included, but this Colonels team could very well be the team to hoist the big trophy Saturday night. They already won the KOB, a tournament GRC played in.

Clark County is phenomenal when they get on a roll. It’s going to take Herculean effort to keep them from cutting down the nets Saturday night. Not saying it can’t be done because there are 3 or 4 teams with the capabilities, but they will have to be playing at the top of their game and Clark County a little off on their’s.

His name is Elisha, not Elijah. I got that wrong a lot when he was in high school playing, too.

Pikeville is a very talented team. Tough defensively. Very physical team. Well coached by Elijah.

North simply has missed too many open shots tonight. Pikeville has played great D but even at that the Jaguars have had open looks and just haven’t been able to knock them down .

Not making excuses for him but imo he has been fouled with no calls quite a lot tonight. Which they aren’t calling too much either way for that matter.

North Oldham has a couple of players and their coach in the interview room right now. The players look older than their coach, who looks about 16 years old. Very young looking in appearance.

Watching the stream of this game. North Oldham has quite a bit of size advantage on Muhlenberg County. That may be the difference for them.

I watched on NFHS and the radio feed with Greg Stottlemyer at the mic and Stan Hardin on commentary. Stan kept saying, “Neither one of these teams want to win this game.” 😄 I like listening to Stan and his comments crack me up sometimes. Greg: “What’s JTown need to do to get back in this game Stan.” Stan: “They need to score some points.” 😄😄

The Reds are basically a Farm Team for other franchises, similar to the Kansas City A’s for the Yankees back in the ‘40’s and ‘50’s.

It probably didn’t affect the outcome but that technical on Wyoming’s coach was a turnaround in Indiana’s favor at the time. The coach claimed he was only shouting something to a player but the official nailed him with a T for being out of the coaching box. If they called a T every time coaches roamed outside the box they would be kept busy with that infraction in all games. Calipari would get several every game.
