Belfry Wins

The major thing that concers me about this team is they just wont wrap up and tackle. They try to arm tackle and against a good back it beats them. In all honestly it hur us against SC, Middlesboro, even SV. I feel we would have beat Ironton if we would ahve quit arm tackling and gave Henry CLay a better ball game than we did. Our guys just need to quit tryin g to tackle them with the arms and hit them and wrap them up. Im sure Coach Haywood has been working with them on this and driviing it in their head.

THey must have left early this mornign if you posted at 10:18 and they are on their way lol its only like 3 hours or so isnt it? They will be able to go to class with Belfry haha. I do wish them a safe trip thougha nd all the fans. You always want to see that. I just hope they arent happy going home as they was when they came lol.

If we both somehow meet I wonder if we can beat the crowd of the Regional Championship Couches Senior year? That was one crowded ball game. I think if both teams met it would be a huge crowd but I dont know about that size. Belfry travesl well. SC travels fairly well to and should travel even better with this being a playoff game and a huge one at that. Some from both sides may see it as a route and it may be. But I really do seeing this as one of the top 5 AA games in the state this week.

Im giving you guys respect but its just everyone saying Belfry is cheering for SC because they are afraid of Leslie and that isnt the case. If they was to play and who knows either one of us could get knocked out then it will be a good ball team between to good tems. But the reason it seems Belfry is for SC is because of Coach Hager. LC is the favorite in this game and they should be they have a good team. But SC wont lay down and they could very well pull out the upset over the Eagles. I really dont look for this game to get ugly. Good luck to both teams.

Couldnt have said it better myself. Matter of fact I have said it before in this threat but people looks over that. As far as us walking with a swagger why not its ours to take. But we know they are teams trying to take it from us and we better play our butts off to keep it. But to the Leslie fans Belfry wont be afraid of you guys if you all play us for Region and Belfrys crows will be as big as Leslies. We wont overlook you guys neither and we arent overlooking Middlesboro. But please remember that we are cheering for SC because their coach is Shawn Hager a graduate from Belfry High School.

No it was a SV fan they are mad at us over Senior Night haha cause we warmed up on the field. But Belfry played an awful game their no intensity Leslie would be 20 points better than the team that played Valley that night but so would about anyone. But this should be a good game good luck to everyone. I acorss am rooting for SC cause they have a Belfry coach. But may the better team win. SC has alot of class and LC will enjoy playing them and Im sure LC has alot of class to!

Im not writing you guys off. I havent seen much on you guys so Im not sure yet. Acorss I think Belfry will win but hey Im from Belfry so thats what I shoudl think. From listening to the radio for about 5 minutes and listening to Pburg announcers I gathered that Middlesboro is a very quick team, is that true? Also on the line are they big , fast, physicall, or what? As we all know a big key is their ability to stop Belfrys run because that is what we do.

I havent seen Middlesboro play this year so I really dont know what to expect. Pburg fans how do you think we will match up against them?

What kind of speed does Leslie have on the lines this year? SC is big but not fast.

They were physical team and played that game with alot of heart. I was impressed with their line and their heart. They didnt back down because we are Belfry like alot of teams will do.But that is Coach Hager and what you expect from him.

They are 8-3 I think. With two of those losses comming early season to Boyd and Lawrence but they have had alot of guys step up since then. The other loss came at Belfry. Leslie should be considered the favorite in this game. But SC is just one of those teams I never count out. Leslie has a very good team though. Leslies biggest challenge will be the line of scrimage. SC is real big upfront.

It will be a very good game I think. Leslie has a nice team. But SC will probably be most physical teamt hey have played with the exception of Bell Co. SC has faced a good passing attack this year to and if Im not mistaking they done well. This could be a very interesting ball games. Two good teams wanting respect going at it.

Somerset might have speed but Pikeville isnt real slow. Robinson has some great speed and Huffman does also. Good luck Pikeville it should be a great ball game.

Why, Belfry isnt cheering for SC cause they are afraid of Leslie. Belfry is cheering for SC because their coach is from Belfry and is a first class guy. Leslie has played one REAL tuff game this year that would have got them the respect they have been wanting and it was Bell. Leslie is a good team I dont doubt it but SC will come out and play them physical and toe to toe I really believe your laible to see an upset. No matter what Leslie fans will leave saying SC will defintley line it up and hit you.
