Pike had a very nice game last night. As Palmer mentioned 50 times last night, he did play fast, which he didn't in the first half last week versus UCONN. As a UC fan, I wouldn't mind seeing him start the remainder of this year and next year. With his height, he can see over the line without a problem. He goes through his progressions very well. He throws a nice ball, and he is actually fairly mobile. He still makes some mistakes, but it was only his 4th start. Ben Guidugli almost made 2 great catches. He pulled down the left hand, one handed catch with a defender all over him. Then on the opposite side of the field, he almost did the exact same with his right hand.

Speaking of Disney movies, Tinkerbell comes out today. My daughter has been talking about it for weeks. She also has to watch the demo disk for it everyday.

I saw this on ESPN earlier this week. Their kickers have struggled this year, so why not give it a shot. However, this isn't the first time a coach has gone to the student body to find a player.

I'm curious too. I just saw some of the highlights on the news, and DeMatteo was at qb with Godsey in the backfield for Dixie. I couldn't tell if this was late in the game or not, but if so, Godsey wouldn't still be in there.

I love going to my daughter's soccer games on Saturday mornings, but the season is over. I do enjoy hanging out with her, but I have to have a project going on around the house too, or I go crazy. Right now, it's a fence. So, I'll be working on that this weekend and the next couple. Then I've got to add some outlets to each side of the house, wire the garage, and build me a workbench with the cabinets I just got off of craigslist. Then, I've got some sheets of beadboard in the basement to do some wainscoting in the daughter's room, along with some 1x6's and 1x8's to retrim the entire house, and possibly some wall panel wainscoting in the dining room and study. I also have to paint the interior of the house, but I HATE painting. :irked:

Watching it live, I thought he just nailed him. Then, watching the reply, I thought it should've been called a balk. It's definitely a call that could go either way. I did enjoy listening to Madden and the umpire discuss it between innings. As for Upton, I was very disappointed in the way he played last night. The bloop single to center by Victorino (sp??) would've been caught if he would've laid out. It's almost like after he gunned down the guy at the plate, his day was over. Madden and Manuel are very cool in the dugout. However, they know what they need to do to get their teams going.

So, was that a balk when Hammels picked off Pena???

I've heard it'd be back midseason, and then I've heard that it was cancelled. I hope it does come back as it was/is one of my favorite sitcoms.

Nothing new has caught my attention this season. I do miss Rules of Engagement. I'm not a big fan of Worst Week that took its place.
