Maybe someone will call me crazy but I believe that Jeff Vories of Highlands is one of the top couple of players in NKy this year!! He is a true point guard that can do it ALL on offense and to tell you the truth is a heck of a defensive player also.I know that HHS has only played 8 games so far this year but Jeff without a doubt has been the best player on the floor every game.

The Birds are looking very strong this season. You have to remember they did not have a senior on the roster last season and were still district champs!! The seniors of Vories,Johnson,Guidugli,Smith,Eaton and Hudepohl are very athletic kids and will give it all every night. Good luck to Willie and the boys next week.............................

To all of the Highlands Senior football players congratulations on an excellent high school career!!!!!!!!!!!! The 19 of you came a long way this year and ended just a few weeks short of your goal.As a group I believe that you became close friends and most importantly respect each other.Our program has a wonderful TRADITION and I hope that you can do your part to keep that alive as alumni. And to my most special senior,Chad ,aka 13K,HUDY and Kitna ,you worked your tail off and made us all very proud!! GO BIRDS !!!!!

I'm a little bit surprised that there is not much talk on here about Highlands "high powered " offense. The offense has really come together over the past 6 weeks in both the passing and running game. It is obvious to me that Chase has complete control over the offense and that is what we need to win another title. The defense has played very strong also the past several weeks.I think all the players are healthy and I expect a strong rush on Burke which could allow for a few key turnovers. Go Birds !!!!!!!
