  1. Adopted Admiral, could you give me a little info on who the Ads have returning and your feelings on their chances next year?
  2. What is the forecast for the Ads next year? What do they have returning and how do you see their season turning out?
  3. I would say his "first cycle" at Texas A&M was good enough and that will translate to Kentucky as well. Kentucky has had several of those "Cycles"
  4. Your welcome, anytime. I was hoping the seven titles and the most wins in college hoops history would give you a hint.
  5. I dont know if Kentucky will get Payne but they will get the players they need to compete at the highest level in college hoops. No matter what Ohio State, Cincy or whoever brings in. Count on that.
  6. Im not all that concerned about losing out on Byrd. I really think we can get a better player for that position in 2010.
  7. I would also say that Dominque Ferguson is definitely a 4 man. No way he could guard a three man on the college level.
  8. Pilgrim will give Kentucky a threat inside at the 4 spot for 2009-2010(I know Cincy fans dont think he is much but they would be wrong) I also think Daniel Orton or Deniz Kilicli will fill our 5 spot nicely to go along with Josh Harrellson and Perry Stevenson. I dont think Kentucky will have to many problems inside with that rotation.
  9. I dont think Orton is a make or break recruit but I think he definitely has potential and lean more towards letabrother's opinion on him. Deniz Kilicli sounds like an intriguing prospect as well and might end up being the better player.
  10. Ive said the same thing about the Ads defense before and they have managed to get it together. If anyone can do it, Perry can and it doesnt hurt to have some athletes as well.
  11. Watch out for freshmen Jerrill Alcorn from Lincoln Co. He has the opportunity to be a special player for the patriots this year and in the future.
  12. I would consider it "solid" when there are other players to play multiple positions like Liggins, Galloway and Harris. I just didnt mention the depth. Didnt think it was needed.
  13. I actually think Kentucky is pretty "solid" on the wings as well with Darius Miller and Jody Meeks. However, adding Williams gives Ky depth at the 2 and 3spots and will hopefully turn out to be valuable contributor this year. I know Bob Gibbons really likes his game and feels he will be a player.
  14. Are you talking about Cardinal Mooney in Youngstown? I used to live in Youngstown(Suburb).High school football in that area is excellent.
  15. Thin Thirty I would agree on your assessment. It seems Danville always starts a little sluggish on D but always seems to improve. They definitely improved on the second series of Number 1's. They are definitely more athletic than both Wayne and Corbin and should they meet Corbin in the playoffs, I like their chances.
  16. It was actually pretty even. Wayne's first team O scored on Danville's first team D and Corbin's first team O scored on Danville first team D one time as well. Danville repaid the favor scoring on Wayne's first team D and Corbin's first team D. Danville then scored on Corbin's Jv D and the last part of the scrimmage Danville's first team D didnt allow Corbin's first team O to score or Wayne Co's first Team O. Danville's first team O then scored on Wayne's first team D but didnt score on Corbin first team D. All possesions were 10 plays each. I thought the Ads started to look better near the end of the scimmage. They are running a very fun wide opened offense this year. This should be a good year for the Ads.
  17. How are the Ads looking thus far in practice? Is there another back looking to take a spot along Simon and how are both the O and D line looking? and defense in general. Any info appreciated.
  18. I know that Corbin scrimmages Danville and Wayne County this Friday night in Danville.
  19. I saw your mention of the Clearinghouse questioning the one core class of Liggins. Do you know if that has been resolved as of yet? I know the news earlier in the week was that "a major hurdle had been cleared" Is that the major hurdle? Also, are you hearing that he will eventually be cleared?
  20. Its kinda obvious this guy has a axe to ground with Kentucky. Its probably just best to ignore those silly responses and move past it.
  21. letabrotherspeak, have you heard any more info on Liggins? Appreciate the info.
  22. Actually, Liggins took the SAT on June 5th I believe. I know it was sometime last week and he was also scheduled to take the ACT today.
  23. Okay, the bet is on. Also, let us see if the he goes after Garrad Job. I think not.
