I made a prediction earlier in the season that no one would score 35 on Ashland this season, and no one has. Rock has a good team, but if Ironton only scores 28 no way Rock scores 34, IMO.

If you shoot your mouth off like this, you should have some facts to back it up. Please enlighten us as to why Hart has no class, this should be good...

Questionable calls?? Like what??? Yeah Im blasting the coach, he made some really bad play calls. I definitely give Russell credit, see post 17.

I know Ashland had some turnovers, but to say they "didnt play well at all" is just totally false. Ashland outgained Russell 331 yards to 115, and had 15 first downs to Russells 5, and held Russell to 1 first down in the second half. The turnovers cost Ashland this game, and Russell took advantage no doubt.

I agree, they made enough plays to win, and deserved to win.

Well Ashland pretty much lost this game in the 1st 6 minutes with some turnovers, one at the 1 yard line. They did a good job to battle back late in the game. But Coach Jack Harris really made some ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE play calls on the final drive. Ashland's 3 backs McCleod, Miller, and Hush had been running the ball well all night. So with 2:30 left on first and 15 from about the Russell 30 yard line he calls some kind of a halfback/TE reverse pass, that was of course incomplete. He proceeded to call this play or variations of this play 3 or 4 more times. Listen coach RUN THE FOOTBALL!!!!! He basically turned what could have been the game winning drive into a complete circus. Good effort from the team, its a shame they had to lose that way.

Now for my close up....

No doubt, it is Putnam Stadium baby! It doesnt get any better than this.

The only update I have is that Ian is still waiting for swelling to go down in his thumb so Dr's can evaluate how to best fix his thumb, as for the others I havent heard anything.

Here is a little update: Ian has a broken right thumb, Trace I believe has some broken bones in his face that may require plastic surgery along with a concussion. Ian and Trace are both extremely lucky. Clark Menshouse the driver of the vehicle apparently has bleeding on his brain, a broken tail bone, and broke all the ribs on the left side of his body. These young men will be in my prayers.
