  1. Will some BGP'ers please post some insights about this game after it's over? Thanks!
  2. Any word on the Highlands 7 on 7 game today? Who did the 'Birds play, and where? Insights and/or PMs would be much-appreciated!
  3. Could someone please write or PM me with some insights from the upcoming 7-7 games? Thanks.
  4. I know it's very early, but can some BGP'ers provide a potential opening day starting line-up for the 'Birds? I'm just curious, especially since Highlands seems loaded with several good RBs and LBs for this upcoming season.
  5. Wow... this is quite an endorsement!!!! I am glad to hear that Tony G. is progressing very well in preparation for his (likely) starting QB job this fall. Man... with everything that's been said about CCH's Isler and HHS' Guidugli, it definitely sounds like things are shaping up for a heckuva showdown between these two players and teams in 2008!
  6. Is this going to be held on June 6 at Dixie?
  7. So, is this game definitely going to happen? When and where? Also, has no one heard of which Highlands players will be playing???
  8. Just to clarify... this last comment of mine is not to be taken seriously!!!!!
  9. I thought you were Catholic PepRock... boy was I wrong. :sssh: You must not be a big fan of the last pope!
  10. Question for the guru... I have noticed on several occasions over the past few years you have made comments that if CCH can change or tweak this or that, then they will dominate all of NKY, reducing HHS to a second-rate program in the region... why do you think this, and why has it not happened yet? If this is in fact the case, then doesn't it just prove the inherent advantages catholic schools have in HS sports???
  11. Some thoughts... 1. There is already a NKY that is in the same "class" as T and X, and that is Highlands... I find it odd that the guru somehow left HHS off this list, which leads me to the second point 2. This thread has exactly one intention behind it... and that is to stir the pot between HHS and CCH fans, nothing more and nothing less 3. Unless Brossart is a better coach than Chuck Smith from Boyle County (which will be unlikely, given how great he was), HHS and CCH will BOTH continue to be the class of NKY football.
  12. Are you sure you are not confusing this with the KY East-West All-Star game? The reason I ask is that the same four players you mentioned are definitely headed to the KY East-West All-Star game.
  13. Is is June 6 at Dixie? Any word on what time?
  14. Any word on the Highlands players who will participate?
  15. Letton of Lexington Catholic. PS My "fake" guess would be Ladeucer at Concord De LaSalle.
  16. I think the two biggest offseason stories/issues for the Bluebirds will be: 1. The quarterback competition between Guidugli and Bardo (and perhaps others, like Turner). The conventional wisdom has been that it's definitely Guidugli's job, but I've also heard that it's by no means a settled issue at this point. 2. The extent to which the offensive line comes together. This was a (and maybe THE) key to the team's success in 2007, and the unit has lost every 2007 starter except one.

  19. When will Highlands play in 7 on 7 passing games? Who will they be playing?
  20. Keep in mind now... CovCath is only ONE year removed from a state championship (going 2-0 vs. HHS that year, no less)... it sort of sounds like some think CCH is out in the wilderness somewhere and not able to compete. It sure sounds to me like everything is in place for BOTH CCH and HHS to make serious title runs in 2008.
  21. What position(s) did he play on the football team? Was he a current sophomore? Gosh, this is awful.
  22. Still no word on the Highlands players who will participate???
