Actually, I mistook several of your posts. I'm now in line and I agree that student-athletes should be required to have a 2.0, heck, even at the middle school level! My mistake! :thumb:

Now, now, if you looked I said you could consider champ vs champ or take the 10-15 teams. I also said in the early post that it was a "general feel" question for the knowledgeable BGPer's!

Motivation varies from student to student, for some it extrinsic and others intrinsic. Not sure why the use of sports to motivate students that would not be in some instances bother you so. Don't some parents motivate with $, others with lincense or other privileges. Do what you are suppose to do in school and you will be eligible for your sport. Yes for some sports is the one major force in their lives. If it is the difference between being an active participant in school and down the road in the real world versus being a non-vital citizen who just takes up space so be it!

That being said, wouldn't logic suggest that it would be easier to win a title in AA. :thumb:

I think it could pertain to state champs as well as overall top 10-15 programs! It will be almost pure conjecture for the most part. Just wanted to know the overall sense of many of the knowledgeable BGPers on here. :thumb:

I disagree!! Suprise!!!! :lol: :eek: If that will keep that particular kid motivated or willing to work in school- so be it!! The end justifies the means. They want to play sports, they stay in school, they graduate. Looks like a "win,win" scenario to me!

I'll take Beechwood in the 90s vs most of the AA Champs, probably would have to give it to Boyle in '99. Not sure about Middlesboro vs Caldwell in 98
