Steve Wright didnt waste any time making his presence felt. I think Wayne/McCreary is a basic tie. McCreary has talent, but Wayne has a big edge in the coaching department for sure. McCreary can get to the big game but never win it. Aaron Watts is not here to help Robert Jones over the hump anymore, so with pure coaching talent to decide, I will go with Wayne at #2.

HOP there is alot of dissension in our town about how we need to progress with our program, ranging from a coaching change to removal of Robert Jones the AD. What do you think is gonna happen? I would like to hear cellkings and Banker of the Souths take also.

Wayne should have been 9-1 not 8-2 jvdfc, so I would not think one player would have made that much difference, if that is what you are saying. I said at first of the year this Wayne team was gonna be dangerous. Whats more scary, is how young they are. Thompson does a great job over there with his kids.

I think HOP said that anything less than 5-5 would be a bad season? Care to comment HOP on your quote?

SARR you better watch it with that coaching comment...Banker of the South will be on here telling us how good things are there. As a matter of fact the Banker started this thread and has not given his prediction. Cant wait till basketball season, Banker is gonna really love me then.

It appears from the comments on the " AD" thread that most share my sentiments on the AD should not be a coach. So with that being said, I think we should publicly state our opposition to this at McCreary Central.

Most in Raider land already know what the problem is, and everyone else knows also( see averagejoes post on the McCreary thread). Bottom line is this, McCreary is suffering from this. Others may not be, but we are....and everyone knows it.

Maybe you didnt understand what I wrote. I 100% stand by my statements and there is a growing number who share my thoughts to a tee. I posted numbers to back up my claims on the AD thread. Since I was the one who brought this up in the other thread, here is some numbers to support my theory at the school I am questioning: McCreary Central Boys basketball last 5 years: 101-48 McCreary Central Football last 4.75 years 14-26 and will likely be 14-28 by seasons end.

cellking is right, we do not get the support that basketball gets. Basketball gets 1st priority and our program has suffered. But we all know that, but what can we do moving forward to get our program on track? I really dont think this is a coaching issue, as I think anyone might very well fail if they dont get the support they need and let the kids see it for themselves as well as parents. I know that there has been alot of talk lately that something has to be done after this year to see that football gets equal as basketball. Im going to throw this out there and you guys can tell me what you think. A school should never have a AD that is a coach also.

Bell is a class act, however dont count McCreary short...hear some big changes are in order.

It looks like the administration has told the other McCreary posters, HOP, cellking, bankerofthesouth, Trenchmaster that they could not post in this thread. Its a shame we cant have a discussion without fear of being censored.

With the sun shining in Whitley City, Stearns and Revelo, we had dreams of 8 wins and another trip to the playoffs. But now we are 1-7 and its suddenly got really cloudy. Where are we headed in terms of progress? I know everyone has said I am negative, but I am a realist. This is a solid question. Answers?
