I think he is the best young coach in the area. He does a great job of teaching that offense.

That's why tonights blow out is so confusing. LC beat Wayne and West badly (about like tonight) and had a battle, but win, against East.

I think it's safe to move Garrard above LC here...

One side note, I was very discouraged by the Garrard Co. crowd. People need to get out and watch this team, they are fun too watch. LC probably had twice the crowd there...

Congrats to Garrard for ending the 7 game losing streak in this series. GC worried me coming into this game, their offense is very hard to prepare for. And was too much for LC tonight. Garrard was the better team in every aspect of the game tonight. They played with more energy and determination from the opening tip. I've been to a lot of LC games over the years. That was probably the poorest shooting performance I've ever seen from the school. They missed many wide open shots that could've made this a better game. LC is not blessed with a lot of scorerers this year, and the few they have weren't able to get off tonight. Spurlin played in too fast, and rushed to many jumpers. I thought he could of scored inside at will. He finished with 17pts. This gives Garrard a bid advantage for the 1 seed in the district playoffs.

Probably won't make the JV game. As far as I know the game is still on. I can't imagine them not playing, since the scoreboard won the first meeting between the two. I am looking forward to this game. I have tried to tell people all season that Garrard worries me...

As of today, looks good. However, it might change after I see Garrard tonight. In my opinion they can only move up after tonight.

Well, it loks as if both schools are out today. I hate it when school is out on gameday. I think the kids tend to be sluggish. I'm expecting a barnburner in Lancaster tonight.

No surprise here, Danville is one of the better teams in the reigion. The 45th district is tough this year.

Bottoms was a great coach, I think BC has made some questionable hiring and firing in the basketball coaching department over the last couple of years. Williams was a good scorer, something the team is missing. Before him, there was Perrin. The team is missing a scorer like those two.

Nice breakdown. :thumb: I like GC's coach a lot. His style of play is hard to prepare for. I noticed Stanford had the edge over GC, that's what I'm talking about.

I was referring to LC, they had two games this week. GC has had two byes since last Friday.... Just to clear up the issue with the scoreboard, it is contracted through Pepsi, so blame them. For some reason they didn't want to come work on it on a Friday night.:lol:

I know/knew Garrard would be better. I haven't seen them play personally, so I don't know how much better they are. It's really hard to determine by looking at their schedule. Very weak schedule up to this point. I think LC is obviously more battle tested and has the experience. Garrard has the home court advantage and are ready to end their losing streak to Garrard. Two weeks ago, I would've said GC wins this game, now I don't know. LC is playing much better since they got back from Florida. It should be a good game in Lancaster. I hope GC fans are out supporting their team this year, in years past LC has had more fans over there than GC.

He gets a few minutes here and there. He has played a lot lately. Jackson is good at grooming guards.

Yeah, he's been there for his entire high school career. He's a Lincoln Countian though. They both seem like good kids.

LC constantly pressures the ball, and makes everyone on the court work on every possesion. That wears down the other team and causes a lot of laziness. BC did have some unforced to's but to say LC didn't cause a majority of them is incorrect. They didn't have an answer for the post play of BC, but BC doesn't have an answer for anything LC wanted to do. LC shot very, very poorly and won easily. If BC cuts down on the turnovers, and LC shoots a little better it's a wash. Still a blow out. I realize Boyle didn't play well, but neither did LC. That's all I am saying. BC is going to have a tough time not being the 4 seed in the district, IMO.

LC did force a lot of those turnovers. I agree, some were unforced. But LC's pressure defense is pretty good. They turn a lot of teams over. I honestly think LC is 15-20 points better on any night. Tonight was a poor showing for LC. They missed a lot of easy shots. I thought both teams played equally bad tonight.

I agree, BC has fell a lot. I thought losing Bottoms would hurt. BC's guards kill them. I can't imagine how many to's they had. Heck, two of the starting guards are from Lincoln County...:lol:

LC gets in offensive droughts at times. But they always bring it defense.
