Size and weight doesnt mean a thing on the offensive line if they cant and wont hold a block. As simple as that. If a linemen is 6'4 350lbs and is slow off the line and doesnt block the whole play then oh well, get me someone else.

I would love to but its hard to get up early, drive all that way and be there before 10:00 am in the morning but I am going to try.

That pretty much sums it up right there. Everyone giving 110% from the youth league coaches up to the high school ranks. LC football true and true, never stops and knows no limits.

I totally agree and this team today from what I saw looked like a complete unit. Everyone was on the same page, Kyle Carter is going to be a force for the Dawgs this year.

I think the day of the Dawg is upon us. LOL

Everytime I have been in Raceland for football or just to get gas I have been treated with respect and I enjoy being in the town of Raceland. Great town with a great program in all athletic fields. Whenever I can catch the white and orange playing football or whatever I try my best to be there and support them. I bleed red and black first off but secondly I bleed white and orange and support the Raceland Rams. A lot of good talent has come from there and I hope to see the town as well as the athletic programs continue to do well. I guess in one breathe what I am really trying to say is " GO DAWGS AND RAMS" lol:thumb:

Thanks for the great compliments, whenever I am not rooting for LC I try my best to keep up with Raceland because they are my 2nd favorite team in this area. Many a battle that LC and Raceland have had and if LC isnt playing on a Friday then I try my best to make it to RAM country.:ylsuper:

If anyone thinks that the LC football program is just another football school on the river is sadly mistaken. A lot of pride go into the sweat and effort that the players put out everyday and the town and community notices this. GO DAWGS!! When the bark and bite comes back around to LC then LOOK OUT, this town will be buzzing and so will the football team.

By the way I think I have read this post like 6 times already and I get chills everytime I do. GO DAWGS!!!!!!!!!

I was so proud to watch the LC team today in just a scrimmage because for the first time in a long time they played like a TEAM. TOTAL TEAM effort and everyone was on the same page and busting their hind parts for every teammate on the field and even for the ones on the sidelines. Now thats Lawrence County football.

Amen brother!!! Keep preaching the truth, I remember when I was younger and going to home games and just being in awe of a Bulldog football player at any grade or position. LC is headed back in the right direction and I am doing what I can to make sure it stays that way. Kind makes you realize what kind of great program we have here in Louisa and once the SNOWBALL EFFECT takes hold again then everyone will remember why LAWRECE COUNTY is a name to remember and respect.:thumb: :dancingpa

Ok great news to hear because I was a little discouraged when I left which was about 1 so to hear this makes me feel a little better.

Yes Coach Evans is out and they are looking for a new coach.

How did the offense look better? I left somewhat early but how did it look against PCC and others???? When I was there they seemed to struggle somewhat.
