I heard that Lawrence Co. was looking for a new head coach. Does anyone know if this is true???

One of their players said that Tommy Holbrook will be the new coach.

What happened to Coach Evans?

It is true that Lawrence Co is without a Girls coach at this time.

I'm hearing of someone named Cassidy as the new leader of the girls team. Anyone confirm?

Yes Coach Evans is out and they are looking for a new coach.

Not sure what happened, but this is probably long overdue. The program has not lived up to its potential IMHO. They have had alot of outstanding players over the last 10 years and for whatever reasons most have not stayed with the program through their senior years. I wish Coach Evans all the luck in whatever she decides to do. And lets hope LC will go find a good coach that can this team to the next level.

 

Here is a hint of you I would like to see, Isn't there a former LC football player and his wife a former state champ in girls basketball in the area, hmmmmm sounds like someone needs to make a call.

Tommy Holbrook is the new girl's coach at Lawrence Co. He is a great guy who knows the game. He has a great group of seniors coming back this season that I believe will make some noise in their region. Good luck Lady Dawgs.:ylsuper:
