Trimble County played football in the 70's. Walter McChargue was the coach and im not sure but i think they had some winning seasons. From what i understand they were pretty good. They stopped playing football in the early 80's then started back in the early 90's. There first varsity season after starting back was in 1996. Jimmy Means was the head coach. They were 3-6,4-6,4-6 in 96,97,98. Genton became the head coach in 99-04 they were 4-5,5-6,4-7,3-8,0-10,0-10....The change is great for them. When Jimmy Means left the numbers was good and he left a solid Freshman and Sophomore class.....

#4 is Marcus Patterson....Great player and great kid. Were hoping he will get to play some good college football. He works hard in the classroom and on the field.

Jared Howard was the kid that got hurt. They took him off on the stretcher because the doctor on the filed wanted to be safe. He has a hip pointer. Basically a deep bruise above the thigh where the hip joins....He will likely miss one start...He was walking with a limp last night... The score after the 1st quarter was 13-6 and Casey had the ball with a chance to tie and threw a pick and it was all down hill from there.

The NJ case is likely just a politically motivated move. NJ has a population of about 8.6 million. They have in excessive of 250,000 student athletes. Thats 1 kid per 500 being tested. Our school will start random drug testing in August they will test teachers, coaches, certified/classified and students who drive or belong to an extra/co curricular activity. They will test about 100 kids 4 to 5 times a year. The drug test they will use cost about $25-35 each i think. If you add the steroid test to that you talking about over $112,000 per year on testing cost. Drug testing can be effective is used to help the students. I did and still do support the drug test but hope it is used to educate and help the students. If it turns into a witch hunt nothing good will come of it.....

It cost from $1000 to $1500 to set a kid up with practice gear, and game gear. Thats with home and away unis.....(Also depends on any special pads you need....) If you start buying some of the special need saftey gear you can get into big money quick...Its easy to spend $500 bucks these days...

He has talked to several schools. They have been some coming to school to see him. UK, Vandy, MTSU, Wake Forest and WKU have asked for tape on him.

Marcus Patterson of Casey County was impressive..(Just 16yrs old also).. 6'3" 200lb Bench: 15 Reps Vertical: 36.5" 40: 4.42, 4.44 Shuttle: 4.31 He has 3.77 GPA also
