They had one senior and no juniors on the team so they all are young.

I am not sure that some of the JV teams in the Region was that strong. They will be the varsity players in a couple of years. I think that the now young Lady Royals will be able to compete in a couple of years.

I would think that Coach Fraley would be one of the leading candidates for the job.

Why wouldn't a coach want the job? Rose Hill as some talented young players that will be able to win the Region in a couple of years. The only name that I have heard that is interested is Mark Watkins. I think that he would do a good job. I don't know if anyone else has expressed any interest.

I don't know how long the list is.

In reality shouldn't this be the focus of any school? It appears to me that it is okay for public schools to have a good athletic program but when the private schools succeed in athletics they are getting away from their purpose.

I heard that Coach Fraley resigned today as head coach of Rose Hill. Can anyone confirm this?

Good game by both teams. Elliott did the 16th Region proud. Congratulations to Mason Co. and good luck in the rest of the tournament. I listen to the game and School Boy Radio did a great job.

Elliott Co. is the obvious #1 pick for preseason. I think that Bath has atleast 3 of the starters back and East will return alot of players. Rose Hill won't be as bad as some think. Granted losing 2 D1 players will make the coaches make some adjustments but I think that Rose Hill should be in the top ten.

Since no one is notified ahead of time like always I agree with Fastbreak.:thumb:

Are the players or coaches notified ahead of time that they made the team? I honestly don't know. If they did know ahead of time I would make every effort to be there(even though it isn't required).

I don't think it was mentioned if it was regular season or District play. Reread the post. It only states when Ashland played Rose Hill.

I wish the Eutons the best. They have served Rose Hill, the 64th District and the 16th Region well. I have seen them put countless hours in at Rose Hill and not all has been about sports. For whatever reason they are leaving the area is non of my business or anyone on BGP. If Dakota had been at any public school in the Region this thread would have died out along time ago. May God bless the Eutons wherever they may end up.

If Elliott's outside game is on this will keep them close but not enough. I will take Mason Co. in this rematch.

GoRadio I almost always agree with you on your post. But this time I will have to disagree. I thought that they confused the players by letting them bang around in the paint and under the basket but then call a touch foul. This just didn't happen in the Elliott/Rose Hill game but also the Ashland/East Carter game.
