X managed to get out of the shadow of their own goalposts, punts it to the Manual 38. Crimson takes over with 37 seconds left, no timeouts.

Louisville stops Florida State on downs at the Louisville 2. FSU has been aggressive all night so far, and that had served them well, but the Cardinals get a key stop. Score remains 14-0 FSU with 9:30 left in the second.

Score remains 15-3 with Manual in front with 1:56 remaining in the first half. Manual just pinned X at their own one.

Florida State needs this win in the worst way. Haven't won away from home since the ACC Championship in 2023.

A merciful end. Braves simply could not hit.

I'm fine with the interlocked UK if it is this version: I absolutely hate their strange K that they have swapped to in the current version. So basically, use either the standalone Power K, or the Power K in the interlocked, but absolutely use the Power K in there somewhere.

Infuriating. At least I know Dubon has potential to hit and help us in other ways. When Kim was getting an error at shortstop, it is soul crushing, because he's not giving you ANYTHING else.

Dodgers/Braves is the only series that split the first two. Uphill battle for the Padres, Yankees, and Guardians. The Guardians in particular, since they're on the road.

Braves take Game 2 by a 3-2 score, with Iglesias getting the save by retiring the final batter via pop out. We have a series. 1 all, going to Atlanta.

3-2 with 2 down in the 9th. Braves got greedy with Fuentes, perhaps. Tying run to the plate. Dodgers had been down to last strike.

If they can hold onto this one, I'd give them a 1 in 3 chance for the series. Coming home with Sale, even in a difficult matchup with Yamamoto, that's a big advantage. They'll have their only two legitimate starters lined up for 3 & 4, with a chance to steal the series at home. My most major concern right now is I don't know who in the world the Braves plan to throw in the 8th. Is it Fuentes for a third inning? That's a lot for him. And 3-4-5 is coming up. Iglesias is going to have at least one of these two innings. Not sure if they're going to try two innings.

As it stands today, it's dubious that they will. Trinity is going to play the Manual/St. X regular season loser in Round 2 this year. In all likelihood, the other three teams in Round 3 will be the Manual/St. X regular season winner, McCracken County, and South Warren. Right now, Manual and McCracken are at the head of that group, followed by Trinity, then South Warren. Chances are, Trinity would be best served to have a round 3 home game by X beating Manual during the regular season. I don't know that I see that happening at the moment. Let's say for argument's sake that X does beat Manual. Trinity would be in line to host South Warren in the third round. Then you'd need Frederick Douglass or Madison Central to not advance to round 4, as both are ahead of Trinity, and I think likely to stay there. I'm not sure I see that happening. And of course, if Manual were to beat X, then Trinity would maybe need two of three of that Frederick Douglass/Madison Central/Manual group not to advance to the state semis. I don't think it looks promising.
