Good looking squad! I can't wait for the annual matchup with my Colonels this year. 🍿material. Always is! I am interested to see the matchup between your Bluebirds and Elder later in the year. We have them Week 1.

Call me crazy, but Beechwood could go undefeated this year. Indian Hill is an interesting matchup. Have the Tigers ever played them before? The Cov Cath game is a toss up IMO. It is right down the road in Park Hills, but I think Beechwood has a decent chance to beat my Colonels. Rash coming back will have the gang firing on all cylanders against their rival. Rash has had several teams in the past who have beat CCH. Volker never pulled it off in his short tenure at HC. Best of luck to the Tigers- except when they play my Colonels. 😉

A rematch would be something.

I am excited to see Brian Weinrich in CCH gear! He and Woolf will have the D ready to play each week.

Looks like Donald "worked out" for the Rams. Oh boy, for the rest of the league. I know he is age 35, but he has had a few years off to recover his body and how in the world will their opponents block both him and Garrett? You double team one, sure, but what about the other? I would love for a Rams vs. Bengals SB rematch at Sofi.

The Bengals are in a for a big year if #9 stays healthy.

The Birds have some sure fire weapons on both sides of the ball. Your QB is a beast. It blows my mind he is only a sophomore. Three upcoming years of terrorizing defenses with his arm and legs. Best of luck this year!

Beechwood is Beechwood. They are a GREAT team year in year out. When Fryman is out there, watch out opposing D's. Scary stuff. Ryle may be "down" this year- they are still a 6A school. Best of luck to the Tigers this year. @theguru the engines are running at full throttle. Watch out 2A.

Baseball needs a salary cap! Looked at all the monster contracts the Dodgers have. Oh, and deferred money!

Any updates on the Edgar McNabb stadium proect? I want to see the finished result!

@FirstTimeLongTime I wonder why an agreement was not reached. Do you have anymore information on that? I understand RPI is important, but come on, the amount of championships between the Tigers and Bluebirds is unreal. A game between both would be so good and interesting, just like when both schools play Cov Cath year in and year out. We could tab the game, "The Battle of the Forts."

I look forward to the ex-Bluebird Weinrich on this year's staff, and hopefully for more years to come! He brings a plethora of knowledge to the D and team as a collective whole. Roll Colonels!

I wish they did two scrimmages. Highlands has Male this week and then Ryle next week prior to Week 0. Am I correct on that?

I will also add that kids from other classes will have to step up into leadership roles this year- the football senior class is small. I believe the Colonels will shine this year and make their mark on their last year in 4A.

The NCC scrimmage will tell us a lot about this year's squad on both sides of the ball. The big test is game number 1 versus the Mighty Panthers from Price Hill, when Elder rolls into Park Hills on 8/28. I think this sophomore Class is going to shine and several will lead this squad this year, and for years to come. Roll Colonels!

Why does Beechwood and Highlands not play regular season at the Varsity level anymore? When is the last time they played each other at that level? I know that they play each other at the Freshman level. You would think that they would play each other- two top tier quality opponents for sure, in their respective classes. Add in the fact that they are both storied programs with many championships to boot. Call the game the "Battle of the Forts." I know CCH gets a crack at both of them every year, and rightfully so. I look forward to both matchups this year in Park Hills.
