Then there's Bob Beatty..... Who was no doubt the greatest Coach in KY HS history. He had a Porsche and never wrecked it. That too me is very difficult, because 98% of the coaches in the State would of wrecked it. But not a lot of people liked Bob because he did it his way. He still had some players and that still made him good, but what he did was made them GREAT. He even said it in the news paper one year. "I'm the best jockey in town." Well the best jockey don't win the Derby with Mules. I agree with @theguru you got to have both. The dudes help a lot. I have seen people have the Porsche and wreck the Porsche.

Again, they had the dudes. Redmon was awesome at Male. Not so awesome at Wagner. Not on him but he didn't have the dudes.

Owensboro Catholic will be better then everyone thinks. I wouldn't be surprised if they are 2nd in the district behind Daviess County. Congrats to Coach Shadowen. I have known him and his family since he was young.

Rash might not be the biggest but I guarantee you that it's the loudest. The atmosphere in the playoffs and probably our Catholic game has been LOUD!!!!

I'm still optimistic about next season. It might be more of a challenge but this team still has talent coming back. Yes, we lose 4 linemen, Hampton, Morris, but T Green, Ganaway, Fountain, and Dillard return. Those are some BIG playmakers. Defensively, Ashley, Pullom, Shemwell, Burk, Roney and Bailes return on defense. This is a great nucleus on defense. T Green will still play some safety I suppose, but look for him to get his rest on offense if Gavin Walker gets going. If we can develop some linemen which I think we have some young guys that can step in. Just will need to get reps.

I really thought they would be better. It's still early. I had our Devils coming in last in the district this year. They might be 2-3.

It will really be sad if he doesn't win it.

Woodward and Maddox have been playing both ways. I know Maddox dad well and he's been going both way last couple weeks. Woodward played both ways. Does LCA have kids going both ways on the Line? Catholic has been using French ALOT on the DL lately.
