Hey everyone, I need your help for my high school AP Stats class I teach. Every week, I am going to play an iconic 90s song for my classes and then survey them on whether they like/dislike the song. Then on a few social media accounts and here on BG Preps I will survey people from different generations whether they like/dislike the song. Then we'll compare the data in class and look at different generations' preference in music. Hopefully will be some fun! If you would like to participate, complete the poll below. Our cutoff for generations is Gen Z (born 1997-2012), Millennials (born 1981-1996), Gen X (born 1965-1980) and Boomers (Born 1945-1964). Our first song is Smells Like Teen Spirit by Nirvana. The Cincinnati Dragons wheelchair basketball team will be hosting a clinic for new players on Saturday May 21st from 11-1 at Leblond Recreation Center (2335 Riverside Drive in Cincinnati). Players don't necessarily have to be daily wheelchair users but must have a disability that prevents them from playing competitive able-bodied wheelchair basketball. I can definitely see this taking off pretty quickly though. I know it's been pretty popular at Henry Clay and they've already had 2 graduating players join teams at the collegiate level.

I'm very excited about the upcoming season! First time a Stoops team has had a top-tier QB along with lots of talent across the board. If the OL and secondary hold up, this team has the potential to win 10 games in the regular season. Week 2 against Florida will be huge. Win that game and they could be in the top 10 heading into October.

I would assume that it would but I don't know that for sure. It's probably around 150-200 males that attend Woodson at the HS level.

So Carter G Woodson Academy is one a few special schools in Fayette County. The school is mostly African-American males and was designed to help push those students towards heading to college after graduation. It works similar to a normal high school but it's smaller and they have some stricter rules on dress code, behavior, etc. It originally opened in 2012 inside an existing middle school. At that point, any athletes there played for their home district school. In 2017, the school was relocated to Douglass so all students at Woodson now play for Douglass. I can't tell you who or how many athletes go to Woodson.

Sorry I have not updated much this year but our Cincinnati Dragons varsity team will be headed to the national tournament this week! The Dragons finished the season with a 17-4 record and will head into the tournament as the #3 national seed. Our first game will be against #14 Chicago Bulls at 3:00 PM Eastern Time on Friday. All games will be livestreamed on our Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/gcasc if anyone wants to check it out. We also have 2 other teams competing this week - our prep team (13U) is the #8 seed and our adult Cincinnati Royals team is the #2 Adult D2 seed.
