That one was a classic. Gonzo had a 8 point lead with somewhere around 50 second left. UCLA got the lead with about 15 seconds to go. Gonzo takes a 40 footer for the win but not before UCLA had a great look for the win. That was March, that was fun!

No, this night was freaking fun! There was so much that happened in that game after that post. Just wow, what a game!

I'm really kicking myself in the behind for not picking K State to go to the Final Four. I remember watching their game against Kansas at the Rock Chalk and they dominated. I thought to myself that night, they were built for the tournament. I had them in Elite 8 losing to Purdue.

They ain't winning this game, it's crystal clear. UCLA is in attack mode and the Zags seem like they got no fight. Plus, the Zags just don't seem like they are a team that can "play from behind". Especially in this game. If they can't control the tempo, their team is in serious trouble.

Well, if Gonzaga is going to give up the middle this easily then it's going to be a long night for the Bulldogs.

I'd like to apologize for being so harsh on Oscar last night. He's beyond any doubt my favorite UK player in recent history. While his defense is subpar, he by far makes up for it by being a monster in the paint. I hope to see him back again next year as I feel like if he has a couple better shooters and passing play makers around him that he'd tear it up. If he does leave, I wish him nothing but success.

Plenty of people understand what you're trying to sell here. And I'm telling you, I've seen Oscar do it and it's an automatic foul. Cats would've lost by 15+. Oscar is just too raw of a defender but he's a necessity because of his rebounding ability.

If you hard hedge with Oscar, then your best big guy and primary rebounder would've played eight total minutes in this game due to foul trouble.

I've seen enough of Oscar hard hedging to know that he ain't good at it. He gets split way too easy and then the fouls start mounting up. Which means either he isn't in a ready position or he's just slow laterally.
