Jaguars start their season with the Camels coming to town. This game went to OT last year with Cooper squeaking out the win. Both teams lost a few key players so what will the outcome be this year and what will be the main contributing factors?

I would have to say that Clos would give him a run for his money when it comes to defensive player in the region. He held ohmer to 8 points in the district championship game last season.

What order of teams and what players would have at top of your list.

CC has plenty of scorers left this season to makeup the loss of the 2 seniors. Bertsch and Heygi are a big loss but they did take majority of the shots last year as well. I think you will see at least 3 double digit scorers this year to makeup the difference. I think their ranking is fair for now. We will let the season do the talking otherwise.

I agree with everything you stated. Those are all very important factors when making a decision like this. I also believe for example teams like GRC and Campbell who have multiple talented players, you have to take in consideration that most of those players sacrifice personal stats for the better of the team in order for the team to be successful.

So what you are saying is it doesn't necessarily mean that the best player in the region is the winner just that if a team only has one star then they usually win. Just because a person scores mores points doesn't make them the best player. I think it should be based on the whole realm of the game.

I think you will see a different player in Clos this year especially offensively. He was the third leading scoring last year. He stepped up big last year in games when he needed to as far as scoring goes. When you have 2 guys averaging 19 ppg you don't need to score a lot but I think this year will be different. Looking forward to this Camels season.

I don't think it should matter if you have better players on your team. The award should go to the best player period and the success of that team based off the performances of that player.
